Screaming exhausts, whining superchargers and blowing turbo's is what we want to hear! We review all sorts of performance cars.   • Cool vid and nice wheels! 8J is not the offset though... The J refers to the shape of the wheel's flange (lip which holds the bead of the tyre) and 8 is the width of your wheel in inches. Your offset is the number that follows "ET". Keep up the good content :)

  • Nice review. I agree on the Michelin Supersports being really poor in the cold / damp. Glad to hear the 4S is better, shame they do not do 17 inch anymore though :( The gold wheels look ok on the car, I thought they would be too bling. Will be interesting to see how the new Goodyears do against 4S, Cup 2 and Cup2 R. Would like to see tyre tests on AutoTop too !!!!!

  • Anybody an idea on the ET and tyre sizes? I suppose ET40 front and rear. I'm going for the same setup except the 9,5 in the back because tyres aren't allowed to stick out in Belgium.

    • i'd consider rewrapping. Who cares about the Indicators in the Wheel, you can get i way more comfortable and a better design when you rewrap the original one.

  • Everyone has an opinion - mine is it looks fantastic. Good job Martijn. I guess larger wheels have an effect on overall gearing - reduce the top speed by a few Km/h. I think that's right. There is probably a simple formula for calculating the effect of different wheel sizes on speed. I suppose the tyre dimensions would come into it too. Anyone?

  • Car now needs a 25mm drop to supplement the new rims, they will look better in yas marina blue though to blend with cars’ paint work
