Crazy plane spotting day during a storm at Schiphol! Welcome to this new plane spotting video, made on January 31 when storm ‘Corrie’ visited the Netherlands. This video includes the most spectacular moments of that day! Several go-arounds, a touch and go by a 747, spray action and hard landings. Rough weather conditions to film in, so apologies for some shaky footage! Hope you enjoy this one :)

Legends say that the 747's are still in the air... Wow, the 777 landing is crazy!
I Think this is a cargo - they are the best at landings. Is this the weight, 777 or pilots or THE COMBO!?
When their not landing on the wrong runways, those Air Canada pilots are pretty dam impressive.
Or trying land on taxiways at night as was tried at SFO!
That there is exactly why they get top dollar. Respect.
The KLM landing at the end was OMG OMG OMG!
Anticipating gusts is a real skill, almost spooky if you pull it off. Not a pilot, but a sailor here, and keeping a boat moving straight on turbulent water is a challenge
Always great to see the pilot skills. Some of these aircraft are doing Windshear Escape Maneuver. You can tell because they retract the gear and flaps later than in a normal go-around. For windshear Boeing says "Do not change flap or gear configuration until windshear is no longer a factor" (B737). Also kudos for the smooth filming in these conditions!

That is definitely the most fucked up landing Ive seen in a long time and yes, I know the conditions were terrible but landing on the nose gear is a no go. Also the Air Baltic landing was definitely a no go.
I knew the Air Canada pilot would stick it before I even finished watching it ! Smooth landing as well. Those Canadian cowboys can land anything, anywhere ! Best trained, experienced pilots in the world.🍁🍁Hat's off to Air Baltic, Wamos & KLM as well !😲😲 Great video captures here, good job !😉😉

I really enjoy seeing videos like this. Watching these Pilots dealing with stormy weather or just really strong winds. Moments like this you know these Pilots truly earn their pay. I had to watch that last landing the KLM 777 wild landing several times. I'd say passengers and crew on that plane probably needed a good stiff drink after that landing. This video was fantastic I loved it. Great piloting by all those Pilots that day.

About that first 747 in the video- the main landing gear came within 2 or 3 feet of the runway before the go-around! Great video quality with all the wind and rain!

Exciting video my friend. Plane spotting in bad weather is good sometimes. I enjoyed all those go-arounds and that last clip with the KLM 777, that landing was horrible it look like the plane was going to crash. Hats off to the pilots who have to navigate these planes in weather conditions like that. it's a good thing that they have the option of going around.

Hey!....those pilots can not only see the window, but sense the opportunity to stick those big birds down on the tarmac. They deserve the big fat pay check they get. They EARN that fat pay packet. They know their job! They do their job well! And they LOVE getting us down on the ground through all sorts of weather!

That 744F at the start would have had a pretty sketchy windsheer warning, going by the wing loading followed by full deflection of the elevator!

Great video. I landed at Schiphol that morning on Flight KL652 (from Washington DC). The approach was a bit bumpy, but the actual landing was very smooth. I guess I was lucky!

@@mylosairplanefan If you were early enough. The scheduled arrival time was 7:05AM, but we landed about half an hour early, probably due to the storm.

I was in the Etihad 787 on this day. We had a go around and a diversion to brussels for about an hour before heading back to Schiphol.

Great video. This is when pilots earn their pay. You have found the perfect spot to observe. No camera shakes from wind gusts, not too many microphone wind gust noises and a perfect view. Panning and zooming were superb. One small question..what is the recurring high pitched squeal sound in the background? During day only? Must be annoying for you😎. Some other Schiphol videos I saw in the past were in storms with a large crosswind component. They were awesome also. This one looked more like an unstable shear zone. That last minute full throttle of the 747 followed by an almost 40 degree climb was awesome…thanks.

Schitterende spectaculaire beelden man! Ik was nog het meest onder de indruk van die hele late Air Canada landing, zat echt te wachten op een go-around. Van begin tot eind gekeken (wat een stuiter van die KL triple😅): top materiaal!

That first 747, that name of the airline company is pretty funny in Swedish. “Supar” means Spirits drink and “Suparna” means several ones. Can also mean a whole gang going off drinking alcohol. Great Airline!!

The Air Canada really stretched out the landing, fully expected a go around.
Nice video! The KLM 777-300ER PH-BVR was parked in EHAM after this wild landing. It was not clear if there was any damage to the plane.

thanks bro. Actually first Suparna 744 didn’t touch the ground. We had windshear warning around 30ft and down to 4ft. I never imagined that I would see that approach again.

Vamos Air took a long time to deploy their thrust reversers.
Taking a good look at the video, it seems that their landing needs a larger space path to compensate for the speed of these colossus beautiful planes. their ground landing is too small, a larger terrain will make these pilots a lot more confident or more secure, besides being safer for them, and the airplane as well.
If I was on any of those flights , my underwear would need a boil wash !
in feb 20 during storm Dennis I landed at Schiphol but that was peanuts I gues compared to that 777 in the end😮😮😮

Then I figured, "hold on, there must be more interesting footage of today's landings". I know on that last one who ever was in there did not enjoy that. I'd be checking every nut and bolts and looking for cracks after that touch down.
If I was on that last flight, it's clear customs, find bar before baggage claim, and order a shot of something...
