Nothing more annoying than fans that think the team they support never fouls and any foul committed by the other team should be a red card. And you're right, that PK was a gift. White team player should have been carded for diving.

My 2 cents about what I saw: Hoover should have won 1-0 in regular time. Both teams played very "physical" soccer which at this level is somewhat expected. The penalty given at the 11:53 minute didn't exist, the ref was clearly not in the right position to make the call and the AR should have had a better view, number 12 on Hoover didn't know what happened or why he was booked. This next observation is totally biased due to the fact that the camera was on the Montgomery side and I can't comment on the Hoover side, but these parents were horrible and a clear example of what's wrong with youth sports. Adults yelling at the ref with every call that went against them, yelling when the other team was fouled, and they even chanted a homophobic slur when the keeper took a free kick at 13:26 and people laughing afterwards. Coaching staffs should really focus on this in any youth sport as it adds pressure to the kids and fuels their aggression at times. But again, who knows what the other side was saying. That was a good game. Contrary to what all the parents were saying I thought the referee did a good job. Clearly this was an important game to both teams. Both teams were skilled, very physical, and in it to win. Great job to both teams. As usual, great job with the videography.

Its hard to specify which video is my favorite because all of them are super dope. I love watching soccer in general and its cool to watch these young athletes play because it reminds me of my game days. Everyone is use to watching the big guys on tv but some of these young kids got some great potential and it will be cool one day to know i watched them play before they made it. One of my favorite videos has to be the Hoover vs La Jolla girls varsity game on Hoovers senior night because they made a huge change from last season when they played them and this new season they won! And also it was a very intense game to watch and they had a few good moves and they never gave up for the ball and just kept playing!

As a referee myself I thought the referee of this game did a good job up until the penalty given in second half that consequently prolonged into penalty-shootouts. It should’ve ended 1-0 but these uncivilized parents kept crying their way to make things go their way. I’m impressed how he kept his patience with the parents because I swear these parents don’t know the sport and can’t even enjoy. 💀💀💀 One thing for sure is that the parents needs to calm their tits down and behave like actual adults to make the game fun. If I were there, I’d kick them straight off the bat.

7:11 in, I've been impressed with the center official considering what I usually see on this channel. Edit: Less than 9 minutes in, eject all the spectators and send them to a grass roots training course. I didn't see any contact on the PK call at 12:12. It looked like the shooter took a shot and his momentum carried him to the ground without any help.

The thing to remember is although you may be correct when you have a game this heated you as an official need to have a presence and call it, even if it close because it calms some people down, some what. Now, if it's clearly not a foul, then don't call it, obviously. However, in a crowd, I, as an official, would make the same call this official did.

Unbelievably undeserving win for that Montgomery team. SHOCKED there wasn't a second yellow handed out on that team...practically the entire team was sitting on a yellow. They NEVER got a penalty (guy wasn't even remotely near him). Very disappointed in the horrible parents from Montgomery. They need to learn the game and stop yelling at the ref every 5 seconds.

The ref was consistent and called a fair game with the exception of...... Two HUGE game changing decisions. First, the white team player took a total dive in the box and wasn't even touched by the defender and called a phantom PK. This let the white team equalize. The second was in the deciding PK's...He called the white team keeper for moving off the line before the kick on the 1st PK he saved. It was a clean save. Should not of been a re-take. Then he called a good goal on the second one he saved and he moved off the line even more.....(If he calls the first save for movement off the line he HAS TO CALL this one as it was even more pronounced). In my opinion, neither should have been called. The Black Team should have won 1-0 in regulation but the ref totally impacted the game negatively on just 3 calls. I know we could only hear the white team parents but my gosh they were so freaking clueless!!!

This was such a dirty game but ngl I was cheering for the black and red team the whole time. Also the parents/fans are so annoying thinking everything is a yellow. Unbelievable. Even if white still won I’m ok with that but I think this game was overload. So many arguments throughout the game. I’m just still mad about how the parents think they are right about giving a yellow or sending that player off like you guys aren’t the referee. So anyways i think this game should of got cancelled of all the craziness in the game. But thats all I going to say about this horrible game.

Its hard to specify which video is my favorite because all of them are super dope. I love watching soccer in general and its cool to watch these young athletes play because it reminds me of my game days. Everyone is use to watching the big guys on tv but some of these young kids got some great potential and it will be cool one day to know i watched them play before they made it. One of my favorite videos has to be the Hoover vs La Jolla girls varsity game on Hoovers senior night because they made a huge change from last season when they played them and this new season they won! And also it was a very intense game to watch and they had a few good moves and they never gave up for the ball and just kept playing!
As a referee myself I thought the referee of this game did a good job up until the penalty given in second half that consequently prolonged into penalty-shootouts. It should’ve ended 1-0 but these uncivilized parents kept crying their way to make things go their way. I’m impressed how he kept his patience with the parents because I swear these parents don’t know the sport and can’t even enjoy. 💀💀💀 One thing for sure is that the parents needs to calm their tits down and behave like actual adults to make the game fun. If I were there, I’d kick them straight off the bat.

7:11 in, I've been impressed with the center official considering what I usually see on this channel. Edit: Less than 9 minutes in, eject all the spectators and send them to a grass roots training course. I didn't see any contact on the PK call at 12:12. It looked like the shooter took a shot and his momentum carried him to the ground without any help.
The thing to remember is although you may be correct when you have a game this heated you as an official need to have a presence and call it, even if it close because it calms some people down, some what. Now, if it's clearly not a foul, then don't call it, obviously. However, in a crowd, I, as an official, would make the same call this official did.

The ref was consistent and called a fair game with the exception of...... Two HUGE game changing decisions. First, the white team player took a total dive in the box and wasn't even touched by the defender and called a phantom PK. This let the white team equalize. The second was in the deciding PK's...He called the white team keeper for moving off the line before the kick on the 1st PK he saved. It was a clean save. Should not of been a re-take. Then he called a good goal on the second one he saved and he moved off the line even more.....(If he calls the first save for movement off the line he HAS TO CALL this one as it was even more pronounced). In my opinion, neither should have been called. The Black Team should have won 1-0 in regulation but the ref totally impacted the game negatively on just 3 calls. I know we could only hear the white team parents but my gosh they were so freaking clueless!!!

This was such a dirty game but ngl I was cheering for the black and red team the whole time. Also the parents/fans are so annoying thinking everything is a yellow. Unbelievable. Even if white still won I’m ok with that but I think this game was overload. So many arguments throughout the game. I’m just still mad about how the parents think they are right about giving a yellow or sending that player off like you guys aren’t the referee.
