It's so sad that Cofagrigus ex is just a strictly worse Dragapult ex. Spread attacks are incredible but 110 and 50 spread from hollow hands just isn't enough to make the card good, even with it's ability.
I WAS LITERALLY JUST THINKING ABOUT MAKING A DRAGAPULT DECK OMG
Same
I already ordered what I needed to or that deck
Same! (I had Xatu in mind when I saw it)
Rabsca clan rise up! Not being able to place those damage counters is a big problem for the deck...and it being a stage 2 deck means it does go a bit slow. I'd be inclined play it with Charizard for late game Ohko's, but we'll have to see how it plays out!
I'm so hyped for this, dragapult Vmax was the first deck I got into when I started playing during early sword and shield era.
It was one of the first my brother tried. His very first was Lucario & Melmetal GX, and my very first was Blacephalon. The game has come a long way since then. My brother hasn’t played more than a few casual games with me in the last two years, but he still has his decks (including the ones I mentioned, Sylveon VMAX, Mad Party, Morpeko, and a Buzzwole GX deck from the 2018 format). As for me… I pretty much just played Blacephalon back then, though I printed proxies for Rayquaza GX and Ancient Wisdom Regis, so he often made me play one of his decks when he got bored of me taking a five minute turn and then stopping to chat. In those days my brother watched lots of deck profiles, and though I read the free parts of Pokébeach’s articles and was probably as passionate about the game as he was, I get the feeling he was the more serious player of the two of us in those early days. I will always be thankful to him for inviting me to watch the Players Cup finals. Without that experience, I probably wouldn’t be paying attention to standard OR dabbling in retro Pokémon TCG formats.
Same! Dragapult Vmax was my first deck in the Sword/Shield era when I got back into playing around that time too.
This seems good. But I think everyone will run to play it and someone will find the counter deck for it, play it at the international and win 😂
It's always like that, that's why hyping a card is bad for the market, but also good for players 😜
THIS IS WHAT I LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT MY BOI!!!!!!!
im just gonna play early game like gardie with tm evo and 4 arvin
Great video! I like to watch every morning to stay on top of all the Tcg updates 👌
Wish we could've said the same for Dragonite ex.
Yea...od LOVE tp.have a BDIF Dragonite :(
Honestly it would be playable if they made an item that allows up to reflip a coin.
As a dragon type fan, I see this as an absolute win!
Really want to believe this because the current meta sicks with nothing competitive beyond zard, and there are too many stall deck options (have run into seven different stall deck designs on ptcg live). So I am not playing at all right now and won't be until there are better deck options for the tourneys.
If this becomes as popular as the hype goes, im putting 2 rabsca lines in everything and 2 evo discs, hell im putting one in everything even if it doesnt become popular just as a precaution
This card is insanely strong. This will be the charzard players go to. I don’t think double de evo disk will be enough. But thank goodness iron thorns ex will turn off that stage 1 draw engine.
It does not, thorns ex only targets rule boxes Pokémon
@@joseleonardohernandezcanela read the card in English. No abilities. Except for future Pokémon. Wossy has a video on it that explains it. Give it a watch
thorns doesn't turn off the draw engine drakloak isn't a rule box
I can admit when I’m wrong. Good catch guys
Anyone still hoping for that Double Dragon Energy reprint? 🤡
The Lance full art from Silver Tempest has spiked in price because of the Dragapult
Please let this mean dragons are back ❤🎉
Does manafy or jiraji block the 60 dmg?
Neither do, rabsca can on a stage 1 though
Jirachi only blocks basic Pokémon.
Only rabsca can block dragapult
@@Sir_BrethrenAh thank you.
dragapult is my fav pokemon so I'm winning
Honestly a bit surprised. The potential was there obviously but I didn’t think it’d make it even with Drakloak. Any dethrone of Charizard is good tho so sick of facing that
nobody shud be surprised... the same thing happened with draga v max. it was only the weakness to eternitus that derailed it.
I apologize for ever criticizing Pokémon’s choice of using tera Dragapult on the pack artwork. … although I have to admit, I did NOT see this coming! Not only that, the person who figured out Dragapult ex would be the meta deserves a raise, because I still can’t figure out how anyone else saw it coming. I find it funny that Charizard ex has basically been replaced as the dominant deck overnight. Dragapult ex is not only the apparent BDIF, and it’s not even just winning 57% of tournaments, but it’s apparently dominating top eight cuts! That’s Charizard ex levels of madness! My brother loves Dragapult VMAX. I have to show him this deck now. Maybe I can even convince him to try it! (Now I’m kind of hoping Dragapult ex is one of the cards that gets special treatment in this year’s high class set, along with cards like single prize Roaring Moon.)
because the same thing happened with draga vmax... everyone looked at it first like "not quite enough" but then when it played gobbled up setup pokemon. it had a flaw with a dark weakness tho in a meta where eternitus vmax was king. so if u saw that format it shouldn't be too much a surprise that a no weakness updated version with a great stage 1 is gonna do quite well
Does Wossy realized that Drakloak is basically Uxie Lv. X's ability?
I spent $60 on Lugia...😢
Lugia still good, my man. Dragapult deck has its weak points, not every deck is perfect. Sidenote: with the release of Legacy Energy and Secret Box, Lugia can now run cards like Hands. It's technically better now
Box is the best with it imo it synergies with sableye
this hype was the same as charizard bibarel till everyone started playing wait till the set comes out and see where it settles in the meta
Its not that good of a card, decent. But only 200 and being able to stop bench damage makes it worse.
Go dig out your Lance cards…
Remember when everyone was hyping up Dragapult VMAX? (There is actually a video on this channel on that one too). Now, this is a good card, but I don't think this should be hyped up so much that its a 50$ card on release only for the possibility to get bulked later on.
Why is dragapult doing better than charizard?
Devolution takes out all their attackers at once
Because japanese tournaments are best of 1 single elimination rounds, so a snipe strategy is perfect.
lol these KZheadrs hype the cards so much and forget that japanese meta is different because their tournament structure is different.
