  • I’m from Baltimore. Many of my friends have been murderd. My youngest brother and cousin both murderd . I witness my first muder at the age of nine, my grandmother murderd right in front of my face. Living here I’ve had countless near death experiences. To survive here it’s a certain kind of way you have to move and even doing that you can still get caught up. I love and hate my city ... Rip to all the brovas & sistas who lost their lives to gun violence nationwide

The ones on here that I’ve been to, I love, I love Detroit, Memphis, New Orleans, St. Louis, and Baltimore, it’s very sad to see how we just let them go. Land policy, urban sprawl, globalization, white flight, we just didn’t do a good job taking care of the cities that made this country and their residents that built our economy. • Baltimore is a sad place, you can feel the disparity in the air all around you. We have some good food if you know where to go but other than that STAY AWAY❗️There is severe lack of opportunity and most people will stay impoverished for their entire lives. Crime, drugs and poverty is everyday life. If you keep your children inside and never go to work you may be able to keep them from street life, but that’s a long shot. Parents need to earn a living. The schools are pipelines into the juvenile justice systems and life long imprisonment.i would never recommend anyone move to Baltimore City If you live here and you make it out God has truly shown you Mercy.

  • Great combination of humor and info - your dreary drive thru the Midwest really sharpened your youtubeiness. I wonder if there are readily available statistics about the distribution of murders across the big cities. Before I first went to Memphis (been there twice) I was told by a co-worker who was a native to avoid streets named after states but a lot of the parts I saw were nice. Ditto Baltimore which has several cool neighborhoods. KC ditto. Detroit, though, I had an uneasy feeling wherever we drove, even around the Motown Museum. Baton Rouge seemed ok the parts we saw (LSU and state capitol) .... I really think if we could franchise the NYPD to other cities (Including Chicago) it would bring crime rates down - the NYPD seems to (almost) always get the bad guyz ....Dana Andrews was great bitd... should have won the Oscar for Best Years of Our Lives ...

I was reading a yakuza book and they seemed to look at it as a disgraceful death to be set up to be killed and burried in a desolate place they seemed to want to get murdered on the street more so their family can have a funeral but idk I just know with organized crime always comes violence and japan is the yakuza headquarters

My friend he's always tryna tell me that other black people are being killed unjustly when it's clear that most murders don't even cross racial lines now a days. This is why I can't take other people in my own community serious sometimes. Because I can tell they don't research crime statistics and other stuff like I do.
