In this video I show you how to remove the rear passenger door panel on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL. I also install Amazon Basics Sound Deadener in the door. This is not a sponsored video. I plan to install a few sheets of this in various locations around the Jeep and may make a future video of my review on it at a later date.

Thank you for the encouragement! I still need to do my front two doors. Most negative reviews I have read on the Jeep Wrangler have been road noise. Its not super quiet, but its really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Then again - every little bit helps!

To keep the window up after you remove it from the track put two pieces of masking tape on the window up over the frame. Also if you use a better quality material with a foam layer it will make a huge difference.
I know it's a year late, but thanks for the video man. It's helping me tons for doing sound deadening. Holy hell this interior sucks. Everything from different fastener types to sizes to the damn deceptive red tabs on the wire harnesses that let you think you slid them back enough. It's really irritating me hehe. I'm certain I got the entire interior out of my '12 Mustang in the time it's gonna take me to do 2 of these doors :/

It has not been a problem for me yet. I still have not gotten in to do the front two doors yet though even though I have the material. I should get in there and do it!
The worst noise is the rear panel at the back door. I wish you took that plastic off and showed us how that is removed
super easy to remove, plastic clips all around the edges. the reason it rattles so much is because there are air vents built into that panel to help when the doors shut.
Thanks Mike, I dropped my Military ID and it fell right in between the sweep and window into the door.
