Angry Old Man Doesn’t Allow Black Family Inside Their Own Home.

2022 ж. 6 Мау.
1 913 685 Рет қаралды

Shanice and her two children Tyrone and Jada are returning home from a birthday party. When they pull up to the gate of their apartment complex, it doesn't open. Shanice thinks the batteries are dead on the gate key, so she parks her car and waits for someone to exit. A few minutes later, another resident enters the complex and Shanice tries to follow behind him. But he sees her trying to enter and blocks her car. He doesn't believe she lives there and will not let her inside.

  • I am 100% on the mother's side for this one! She was clearly being patient with that guy and he kept giving her a hard time despite him being clearly in the wrong. For all we know, he could've taken the batteries out of her gate key so the gate wouldn't open for her, but we don't know that yet, do we? One thing we do know is he was being a bully and a jerk, acting like he owns the place, and he ought to be ashamed of himself!

    • I am very curious to know what you would do if you saw a person, regardless of color, following you into a place of restricted access without using a gate key. Regardless of anything, that should raise some suspicion. The woman was not patient, she had had the demeanor of an entitled liar 🤥

It shows her street address and may possibly show her condo unit number. Furthermore, the cop did not ask the man to show his ID to the woman.

  • I disagree with the man's actions as they had racists origins, not just protecting the community. He escalated the whole situation with his beliefs. On another angle to the incident, the Mother had some options. Most gated communities I lived in also had key pads. During business hours, you could contact a manager for entry. While some Condos no longer have onsite management after complete buildout, they usually have an emergency number. I had problems with my remote once. The management trusted me enough to give me the code they issue to service people so I could enter until my remote was replaced. Bottom line - Don't be racist, insulting, and assume. • I just came across this channel and watched a few of these videos so far. They show extreme events that I thought don't happen. I know it's to prove a point. Also, to get a person's attention and learn, one has to often use extreme situations, weather true or not. Like, one has to light a fire under someone's butt to get them to move, right! I am also learning much from these videos. Learning life lessons. I'm humbled. As a white man, I cannot EVER KNOW what it feels like to be harassed and humiliated just because of one's skin color. I can always say, "I understand" or that I can relate, but in reality, my words wouldn't be enough. I could NEVER truly understand what black men and women go through, even today. As a white man, I'M EMBARRASSED for the ingrained thoughts of my predecessors about race. I'm angry that my past generations put those ugly thoughts in MY head too. Race is not the problem in life. Ignorance is. just my thoughts. Thank you for letting me post.

It doesn’t matter who they are. This man was right not allowing people who were strangers to him into the complex. There’s a fence there for a reason. You’re not supposed to let strangers in. He didn’t know her. He should’ve called the building management because that’s their job. This woman was rude and entitled just figuring she has the right for anyone to let her in. I think she honked at the man. She should have been apologetic and said she’d appreciate it but when he refused she should have just accepted it. She should’ve called the management of the complex to let her in. That’s their job. What possible ticket could this cop write for this man? This is ridiculous.

A White male/female tries to come in the door that I just unlocked with my key. I hurry up and go through so the door will close before he/she gets close enough to get in. Am I wrong? If there was any moral value the ending should have been that they all swallowed their pride, apologized, and left each other in peace. Man did not deserve a ticket, and cop needs to keep his feelings out of his professional decisions. Ending makes it clear the the intended message is a “we won” punch to whites! Reset the scene with a black resident suspicious that another black is trespassing and see if anything would be different.

But it wasn't his job to stop her from entering. He should have called the gated community's security number, told them his concern, and let them worry about it. I'm sure the gated community has some sort of policy about this, and it's up to the gated community's HOA board or whatever to decide what to do about this. Maybe the security guard would ask her for her ID, or maybe they'd just look at her license plate and check it against a registration list, or whatever. But it's the security guard's problem.
