I think back in the day, pre-1974.when the goal posts were on the goal line, and kickers were mostly the old school straight-on types, they didn't have nearly the leg they do now, many more misses were returned out (especially since I believe the other rule back then was a missed FG wide in the end zone was just a touchback with the ball at the 20 unless someone ran it out- which is actually the logical result of the play instead of giving them the ball at the point of the kick as is the rule now).

After the first two seeing the 3rd all New England I thought it was a patriot compilation 😂
Special teams plays are always the most exciting when something happens cause its straight up chaos every time
Raider fan thanks you for that final one, because that Eagle loss for Bucs meant we faced them in that disastrous Super Bowl thank you for NOT including one or the two pick sixes Gannon threw. RAIDER NATION -- unite - and great videos!
This video is solely blocked field goal kicks, so Gannon's pick sixes wouldn't qualify.
Another good one to add was Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs in October of 2007.
Andrew Toone preseason
pats suck chiefs rule oct is never preseason
Correction. It’s from 2006.
And it wasn’t from the preseason. Lawrence Tynes’ field goal got blocked and returned for a TD by Kelly Herndon.
Ayyy my Chargers made the thumbnail! #BoltUp!
Check out 4:35, you have the holder, a punter, chasing down a defensive back from behind. Don't see that too often. Unfortunately, he did not know how to tackle.
Missing one - Ravens @ Titans, divisional playoff game in Janurary 2001. Raven Anthony Mitchell picks up the ball on Keith Washington's block of Al del Greco's 37-yard attempt and takes it to the house.
108 yd touchdown run. Priceless.
Gotta love Chris Berman's commentary for the last one.
The Eagles returning their own blocked FG for a TD is the ultimate.
Chris Berman doing Sports Center top plays brings back some good memories
2:40 I guess you could say Feely had the feely’s after that
Wow there’s a lot more of these than I thought there were
4:03 nice to see TOUCHDOWN SEAHAWKS make an appearance
6:16 was the best in my opinion.
that was great awerness. the bug guy knew he wouldnt be fast enough so he pitched it. well deserved
6:17 I was at that game with my dad. Thought for sure the Oilers were going to make that and win the game. The place went nuts when Seattle blocked it and ran it back for a touchdown. Could not believe it!
Where’s the one from the Ravens/Titans playoff game in 2000?
3:00 I love how nobody realizes that they returning the kick for a TD until it's too late.
9:05 The kicker and holder putting in some blocks haha.
Very first clip: Back when this happened I was playing a guy in fantasy who had the Pats defense. Apparently in the league the rules were changed to where if this situation ever happened, the defense would get 1000 points. To conclude, I was big sad that week :(
Chester Marcol of the 1980 Packers in overtime against the Bears had his field goal blocked but ran it in for a touchdown
2:09 to 2:44 - Flag was on the Giants for Unnecessary Roughness. Enforced on Kickoff. Bears won that game. 12:06 - The record is 109 as you might recall earlier in the video.
that last one was the best
That Sendejas score...that was crazy! 😰😰😂😂 Usually the 'defense' scoops and scores on touchdowns from blocked field goals, but the 'offense' broke the rule! 😂😂😂😂 I guess DeSean Jackson's punt return is Miracle at the Meadowlands #3 instead of #2 as it was originally called... 😝😝
Nice vid
Aww, you showed the Vikings blocked many times, but missed Bobby Bryant's return in the 76 NFC Championship game on the frozen farm fields of Bloomington MN!
Louis Wright vs. Chargers week 11 1985. Chargers have the ball and are driving in OT to beat Denver. First blocked kick was nullified by a time-out. Dennis Smith blocked a 2nd straight kick, Louis Wright runs it in for 6 to win the ballgame. You should definitely check that out, Otherwise great compilation!
That Nathan Vasher one is my all time favorite
you forgot eagles-chargers 2005. Quintin Mikell blocks Nate Kaeding's FG, Matt Ware returns for GW TD.
he didn't forget, he didn't have room in the video because he had to fit more patriots plays
1:46 THAT WAS A GLORIOUS DAY
The Ray Lewis block was one of the best special teams play eber
That Deuce McAllister run was so unexpected, even the cameraman didn't know it was happening!
I'm more impressed with #54 on that last play. Is that a linebacker flying by a corner to make some blocks?
Patriots special teams have always made a difference. They just blocked a punt for 6 against the Giants last Thursday.
These videos are the only football I watch. I used to love the Steelers during the days of Franco, Joe, Lynn, and Terry. But the personality of the game has changed.
😱 I REQUESTED THIS
6:45 I love me some old NFL Films musical score.
I was waiting for the Clyde Simmons TD in OT on the Giants' block.
Bro Troy Brown's lateral to Antwon Harris was otherworldly
The last one was the best. He spinned off 5 defenders at once.
Did that Patriots vs Steelers one count? It looked like a forward pass at 3:29.
Well hell, Will Hill!
Title: “NFL Field Goals Returned for Touchdowns.” New England Patriots: *Hold my beer*
New England has always played such solid special teams
you missed one and that would the blocked field that dallas returned for a touchdown against Minnesota in 2007
I’m a Alabama fan and live in it I can remeber the auburn football game in my brain
The last missed field goal return was amazing!
That savage hit at 4:42 though! I hope I’m not the only one that laughed
He didn't have to do that lmao
I want to see the actual CBS call of Bobby Bryant's touchdown from the 1976 NFC championship game
Where's Chester Marcol getting rejected, having the ball bounce right back to him, and taking it to the house for the game-winning TD? That's an all-time classic play.
Great blocking on almost all those runs.
Almost? These runs wouldn't be possible without great blocking!
Love the video
I am here because of the 2013 Kick Six against Bama.
You can tell the Patriots practice this sequence a lot.
You missed Broncos vs Chargers. Block. TD. Penalty (offsides) Retry. Block. TD. Louis Wright. Dennis Smith.
Billy B neva slacking!!!
2:19 he can thank # 92 for that TD
Killed em
My favorite type of TD lmao
What about aaron williams 52 yard return. Week 3, 2016: Cardinals vs Bills
Ok I have to ask are all these FG TD returns all Patriots?
Bobby Bryant blocked FG vs Rams 1976 NFC championship. 90 yards for a TD.
Soooo, why wasn't Cromartie's 109 yard td the last highlight? THAT'S the record.
At 6:25, the guy laterals it to his teammate, but they are both running forward. So does that mean it was forward lateral.
Fun fact: If you kick it in you get 3 points. If you run it in you get 6 points.
Best touchdowns diving for the pylon.
Missed field goal returns for TDs are the best
10:30 Looks like a Charlie Chaplin skit
SBS loves their Pats!
7:43 game was the one Peterson broke the single game rushing record
Anybody notice how the Patriots are everywhere on KZhead when the NFL is shown. I guess that means they are really good.
Well, they have gone to 7 of the last 16 Superbowls. They are the best of all time.
@Jesse Smith The Patriots held the second best offense in the league to 3 points. GOATs!
More like cheating
8:32 would be an illegal block in the back in the NFL today
