Misleading to call these "highlights", IMO. Showing last rock in a few ends -- wide open draws, simple nose hits -- while NOT showing pivotal moments or great shots earlier in the ends is actually pretty lame. The first vid I watched was Gushue throwing a simple draw while the commentator talked about the "miracle double-takeout" that Mark Nichols had just thrown. So......why do you show the beginner-level boring shot and NOT show the high-skill, exciting shot that actually changed the end?? Things that make you go "Hmmmm....".
For the love of all that is holy in curling, stop this madness and stream the games live here again. No one wants to go have to pay subscription fees just to watch games. This shit is ruining the ability of curling to reach out and attract new viewers, just like all the atomization of streaming services is leading to less and less viewership and more and more pirating.
