That is because it is based on a purity of friendship that can get distorted as an adult. Adult relationships include things that can mess up the pure heart. Kids don't engage in things that adults do. Neither should teenagers. Chastity is a virtue that should be valued even as an adult. That is why I always try to push my A. E. C. & M. Abstinence Education Career & Marriage. It should be a Public Service Message. It would cut down on a lot of the problems we have today. I.E. = Teen Pregnancies, Divorce, Abortion, Etc.. We should actually add another C in there for Compatibility. A E C C M :-). In some cases children try to act or think they are adults. Perhaps more adults should act like children? :-)
