After the smashing success in the Champions League in midweek, Ajax took on Cambuur in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The hot streak continued with a 9-0 thrashing of the visitors from Friesland.

  • Het is mooi dat Berhuis nu spelers om zich heen heeft van een gelijkwaardig niveau. Waar hij bij Feyenoord veruit de beste was. Dit brengt hem makkelijk in een bepaalde flow (kan ik mij voorstellen).

    • Gorter gaat het dit seizoen echt niet laten zien hoor. Die jongen is veel te onervaren en te jong. KKD naar CL is een te grote stap, het feit dat jij dit niet snapt is helaas al betreurenswaardig.

    • @@Legofromthelowerlands020 Gorter is een jaar ouder dan Onana was toen Cillessen vertrok. Onana was ook onervaren, wispelturig en maakte nogal wat rare en domme fouten in de KKD. Stekelenburg en Pasveer zijn niet de toekomst. Gorter moet ook ervaring opdoen in het eerste. Misschien niet gelijk CL maar oefenpotjes tegen clubs als Cambuur kan prima. Tevens alle andere posities op het veld kunnen wel onervaren en jonge spelers, zelfs in CL maar een keeper kan niet? Van der Sar was ook jong, kwam van amateurs, maakte fouten in de eerste 10 wedstrijden of zo maar is daarna uitgegroeid tot een van de best keepers ooit. Had ook niet gebeurd als van Gaal had gedacht zoals jij.

    • @@maxvanhart7042 Niet bij zijn debuut. Van Gaal werd hevig bekritiseerd dat hij van der Sar liet staan toen Menzo weer fit was. Hij is een keeper van wereldklasse geworden. Kernwoord geworden, het was een groeiproces.

  • Because of my busy schedule this weekend I was unable to watch this match.. man what a great match! Berghuis the type of 10 I like to see a creative passers that can also score.. neres and Nico it's awesome that they both stayed I still believe if neres manages to get his top form back that they should renew his contract wasn't he like the first Brazilian player to join ajax in years after.. leonardo? He was also amazing during the European campaign... daramy looks great he is a real speedster can't wait for the next match I'll have to clean up my schedule so I can watch the next match in weekend!

    • Sadly, not going to renew Neres I think. Unlike bigger league Ajax doesn't get that amount of tv rights revenue, or a guaranteed champions league spot (although NL is climbing the rankings increasing the chances). So they can only stay at this level by selling players when they are still worth a lot. On top of that they really have a history of supporting players with that, they know the eredivisie is not that interesting for them, so after they contributed to the team, they are allowed to go after a few year. Has nothing to do with them not believing in the players anymore. Just after a while both sides know it's time to move on. That's why they tried so hard for Neres to get a transfer this summer, which probably because of the corona didn't happen.

  • Vriend Berghuis heeft het naar zijn zin in Amsterdam . Ik had er niet veel vertrouwen in , heel eerlijk gezegd, maar hij doet het echt geweldig . Ik denk dat dit een heerlijk seizoen gaat worden . Zeker als de Ligt het zat is bij Juve en weer terug keert waar hij thuishoort. Jong zat om over 3 jaar weer een grote stap te maken. Maar hij moet echt weg bij Juve . Te belangrijk voor Oranje om daar te verpieteren achter 2 met alle respect , ouwe mannen.

    • Helemaal mee eens, maar het ligt niet aan die 2 oude mannen maar de trainers...zonder ten Hag zouden ze niet zo voetballen, kijk naar timber...de ligt mag alleen naar voren bij een corner
