That outdoor arena is what fight Island should have looked like
Ya forsure. I remember when WCW used to hold events outside. It's so sweet and all these companies should do it way more often
Yeah im sure they would love a rusty ass ring
@Flatulence The Unending that's a good call 👍. But wtf if it rains throw up a tent
Yeah until you realize how unbearably hot it would be to fight in there
^^^ yeah not possible to fight in 100+ degree weather cmon now
I like how chandler respects his opponents enough to not hit them when they’re clearly out. He’s always very cautious if he thinks they’re already out.
I agree. I also noticed whenever the ref breaks his rear-naked choke, he calmly removes it, stands up slowly and finally celebrates. Other fighters would celebrate right away.
Which is interesting since he is such an aggressive fighter
Chandler is a competitor but if you wanna have war he is glad to oblige, glad he finally got his shot at the ufc, we got a bad ass ko from, we got a great fight vs Olivera, and now we getting him v gaethje that has been the fight I’ve always wanted to see, if there’s anyone that can sleep gaethje out cold round 1 it’s chandler but chandler can get slept as well, it’s gonna be a amazing fight
wtf is up with the referee.
@@MrDeftones122755 yo, what are your thoughts on the fight
Props for him telling the ref his opponent was out, he actually eased up before the ref stopped the fight
I have a bit of amateur experience and remember the 1st time I let up to let the ref get in and stop it i was ridiculed for not having a "killer instinct". I was just baffled how literal he apparently took that phrase. If the dudes out the fights over give them a chance to get back in there ASAP. It's always gonna take a ref a few seconds to react but as the fighter delivering the blow you usually know right away
@@brandonpatricelli1062 Do they relax? How do you know
Their eyes roll in the back of their head, body stiffens up for a moment or so then goes pretty limp. Their are a few signs and of course nothing is absolute and in the heat of battle you can be pretty much blind to it I am not knocking anyone who hasn't let up because you are taught to go until the ref stops you and i would imagine letting up and having the guy come to without a stoppage would really really suck not gonna lie lol. I have just always viewed a fellow fighter as a co worker I will do everything in my power to come out ahead of you but still want the person to be able to earn a check (regardless how small) and do what they love as soon as medically possible. I was 19 at the time also and just having the time of my life competing so my overall mindset was positive and more caring tbh
@@brandonpatricelli1062 always good for a fighter to know how to ref his own fight. Martial Arts are supposed to be about respect and discipline
@@brandonpatricelli1062 That ref sounds like a big knobhead, you're a G.
He was so close to getting that UFC belt. All respect to Do Bronx tho.... heart of a true champion❤️
He will get it one day soon I bet

my money is on chandler. and im a big gaethje fan

Yeah idk for sure but I honestly feel like Chandler would destroy Conor and I'm a huge Conor fan.
Chandler VS islam makachev.
@@naceeramine5241 yes! That (last 257 McGregor - no question) would be murdered easily by Chandler! Without even a sweat!
Damn I didn’t know he had that many submissions. It really wasn’t that weird when he went for a guillotine against Olivera then
Yea man his background is in wrestling 😁👍
yeah to think it was weird he was trying to win the fight. didn’t know trying to win was weird lol. even if submissions aren’t your specialty baha
If Chad Mendes fused with Matt Hughes lol
Why Matt Hughes
I call him mini romero.
Call him iron mike.
@MrBrenman and actually uses submissions too lol
@MrBrenman yes but aside from they they're insanely similar down to how they're body's are shaped and how they fight.
No idea about Chandler as a human being beyond fighting but honestly love this dude in the cage. Pure agression and power with a reasonably high fight iq. Deadly trio.
I promise you he is an even better human being than he is a fighter. A truly stand up guy.
@@TheAbsoluteSir i second that. Dude is a gem
Hes is a really awesome humble guy man and ill never not route for him n he has a wonderful family too
He's a very nice guy, and quite smart actually. Just search for some interviews.
i went to school with him and he was a dbag back then but most people were.
This guy is a f'ing nightmare. He's knocking dudes back to the essence.
Back to the essence😂😂👍 Belting opponents Right back to single cell organisms that climbed out of the primordial soup! He is one dangerous cat!!!
Chandler is very fast and strong at the same time. He's very dangerous opponent
He's got the best style out there man. Love this dude
You know he's a legend when he has a top 10 FINISHES list. I'd be happy if i even got 10 wins fighting pro.
facts, same
It's more like top 10 Belator KOs and he has all 10.
Lol u can say that again!
@@lowlowseesee what a thing to say LOL. It's like watching Cristiano Ronaldo and saying wow nice he has a top 10 goals list, I wished I had 10 games...
Damn he choked out Marcin Held. That's impressive.
9:48 Big John's a great referee. You can see that he knew Pitbull was out before his body hit the canvas. If it was Mario *IF HE DIES, HE DIES* Yamasaki, he would have to retire early.
Chandler knew too, he didn’t jump on Pitbull to deliver more blows as you would expect him to do if he thought Pitbull wasn’t out yet.
Big John was the best ref. Good commentator too but I miss him in the ring!!!
"IF HE DIES, HE DIES" - Drago HAHAHAHA!!

Is this a real life or it this just fantasy lol
Merked him!

Momma, I just killed a man Put my hand against his head
Another one bites the dust
He reminds me alot of Matt Hughes in how physical he is with his wrestling. I think anybody would have a hard fight with him
I was thinking the EXACT same thing watching this video. Odd to see it in the comments.
he looked like him when he was younger
That right hand he landed on Pitbull at the end was VICIOUS!! That punch would knock out even some heavyweight fighters as well. So fast and powerful. That was perfect technique and in the perfect spot. Terrifying shot!!
That patricky ko is one of the greatest knockouts of all time
Micheal Chandler has a good heart, he doesn't continue d onslaught when he knows his opponent his out cold
One of the best of all-time in Bellator history 👊🏼🏆
That's not saying much
He’s already going down as a great in ufc
The sequence at 1:12 is absolutely insane. That was such an incredible finish. He turned catching a leg kick into all that, wow.
Hes like a lion
What a fighter. Of all the great fights that could've happened in the rival company, my favorite was prime Edgar vs Chandler. It's one of those cases where I really don't know who would've won.
So tell Frankie Edgar to come out of retirement and face Chandler. That's a ESPN main card

Chandler's stance when they throws that long 2 is very interesting. His knee almost touches the ground and he has very long stance. But man does he cover a distance with that shot fast!
Here after hooker got slept. This guy is for real. Speed and massive knockout power. Not to mention is GnP is brutal with submissions to accompany
Yeah his aggression is soo powerful, just like Conor or even better.
Very dangerous guy. Explosive athlete, above average grappler and strong wrestler with ridiculous power.
He chains together submission attempts and ground and pound seamlessly, very good transitioning on the ground.
Watching this before his fight for the lightweight title on Saturday. Pumped for this dude to make history!
Iron Mike Chandler can beat anyone any given day. All 3 of his losses in UFC he nearly still won the fight
Who came here to see how well he matches up with Charles Oliviera
Bellator needs to simplify that canvas. The color and all the ads visually mask a lot of the aesthetics of the fight movements.
😐
? You good?
Ur right
thanks for the highlight reel belator
That last knockout in slow mo overhead - three feints with the left hand as he closes, the first doesn't look intentional, but it looks like Chandler notices the reaction (big reach) so he tries it again, gets a little reaction again, so decides to step in wafting that lead left hand and pow with the right. Pretty nice.
Love Chandler. Been a fan for many years. He is a beast.
It is very nostalgic and great to hear Michael Goldberg: "IT IS ALL OVER!!!! JUST. LIKE. THAT!!!MICHAEL CHANDLER has done it again"
The Dan loss makes sense now... Shiiit we were never ready for him!!
Chandler vs Olivera for the title now
Literally a bigger version of chad mandes a wrestler with an overhand right
pretty much yea, but i mean i didnt work bad for mendes, he was on a tear after the first aldo fight, chad 2.0 was a beast, and also i thought he looked pretty good against connor.
before he got knocked out that is.
Alot of it was the juice
Chad in his prime and Michael at 150....
Lol accept he throws maybe 1 overhand right in this video and thay was in a wild rcchange, his big punch is straight right which he sets up by faking or throwing a quick jab. Mendez threw overhands while faking takedowns, completely different styles.
There's levels to this game. Bellator and its fighters will forever be levels below UFC and its fighters
One of the best if not the best Bellator representatives!
That's not saying much
This man has such heart. I think he will land a belt here soon in his current UFC bout run.
that last punch would have killed some regular people
Chad Mendes and matt Hughes have a half brother.
5:02 huge respect for a fighter telling the ref immediately when he feels his opponent lose consciousness
Thanks for sharing my dearest friend Keep up the good work and stay blessed
The Alvarez fight was 10 years ago, time flies.
Excited for tomorrow night ☝🏽
His newest K.O should be #1 now 😂😂 knock Tony into outer space 🤣🤣
I hated to see that, but I can not deny that Chandler is a monster
upcoming fight is absolutely a banger
The number 1 spot...probably the biggest hit knockout ive ever seen in mma. Every bit of energy starting from the ground up to that guys jaw. Holy shit lol
Chandler lembra muito o Vitor Belfort na trocaçao e explosao, principalmente no primeiro roud. Charles Do Bronx derrotou um fenomeno, isso é inegável!
the right straight in #1...wow. talk about ridiculous hand speed...literally a blink of the eye fast!
I wish UFC would have stages and entrances like at 9:35. Adding pyro would be great to. Also the outdoor arena is so cool!
This guy is a true thinking man, he knows when they're going to strike or he moves his head to where he wants them to aim a left and then comes in with the right. And he sometimes tricks them into thinking he'll choke with the right in order to sneak in his left hand under the chin
Can't honestly ,see anyone in his division ,beating chandler.all round skills, powerfull and civilised.
I forgot how badass chandler is
His style is so entertaining and fun to watch🔥🔥

I think he's gonna control Oliveira completely and keep the fight wherever he wants it to be. He definitely has the power advantage. Definitely one of the hardest hitters if not the hardest at 155.
Let’s see , Oliveira likes to take control in the middle of the ring the second the fight starts , that’s why I can’t wait to see and chandler does the same

The speed and accuracy is extremely entertaining, his ability to close distance due to reach disadvantage is also amazing. If it goes to the ground I think Charles might submit him, but if it stays on the feet, charles will be in trouble. Chandler could be a new and long reigning champion!

Who in come because he will fight Dan Hooker
Everybody ahaha
I see him walking on to a knee, or getting an armbar pulled on him , if he attempts to takedown Hooker , Dan is going to grab the arm and wrap the hugely long legs of his around it ., but if he can avoid that in the transition , then he will sub Hooker , very interesting match up indeed , imo !
