I am currently subscribed to Scar, and began near the end of Hermitcraft Season 5. As I was watching... "Th-those railways...look familiar..." " 'Mother tree?' I've heard that before..." "THAT NETHER PORTAL! AND THAT BIRCH HOUSE! I USED TO WATCH SCAR FIVE YEARS AGO!" I always wondered who built that house. And the fishing cabin and the crystal cave and that fancy quartz pool.

I feel so sad because I never did survival when I first got the game, and now years have passed and I’ve seen entire series dedicated to survival mode. So I’ll never have one big survival world full of memories...

I was wondering why scar had so many jellies around. Then I realized why he had a nametag in his hotbar.
I am really inspired by those immense forests and really tall cactus, these can help make some interesting landscapes. Also, loved the change of Scar's building style, it was really interesting to see.
It kinda makes me feel bad that you can't add 'branches' to the cactus. They could like even more epic.
i just remembered i watched scar build the mother tree *years* ago. this has to be the best survival world ive ever seen in minecraft. the whole terrain has been terraformed and the dense forests look amazing. the rollercoaster is my favorite part tho, too bad you didnt go into third person mode
15:15 - I'm watching this in the middle of Hermitcraft season 7, and you really took that inspiration of builds surrounded by trees, and made something wonderful with it in your own style.
This is truly an amazing world. You can also just see how more intricate his building style gets over time in this one world. Insane.

Damn that was nostalgic. All the old trees and old block pallets, the old school wheat farm and watching the builds evolve as things were added. And that rollercoaster good job Scar! lol

Thanks for sharing this, X. I watch many of those later builds as they happened. Scar is one of my first three MCO youtubers I subbed to. I found you because Scar came to HC in Season 4. So glad I did. The whole HC team is a wonder group.

I would love to see a hermitcraft that lasts 2 or 3 years so that we can see a complete mona lisa game and see what you can do in 2 or 3 years, personally 1 year is way too short! Like so he can take this idea into consideration
S05 ended because there were only a couple of hermits still playing on the server. As it grows older, most of them get tired of it and eventually it dies. I think 1 year, 1.5 year, it's perfect for each season. Of course projects like the Mona Lisa will never get finished, but it is the way it is...
They're kind of doing the moba lisa this season with their prank war. Each side is building a fort before they go to battle.
Oooh the fred game yeah, i heard iskall and ren working on those with their community at the end of season 5. But havent heard any update yet.
@@GustavoGplay There were only a few playing because they knew it was ending already; they were wrapping up their videos meaning a lot were ending jsut before the offical one - it's not the reason it ended. The main reason for it's end is: 1. It was already pretty long and the world was beginning to get full - it was about a year old. 2. 1.13 was on its way and they wanted to start fresh as 1.12.2 ended. Hermitcraft this year is most likely going to update the server when Minecraft hits 1.14 though, people have said 'when we update the server' and it's still quite a young series.

man, this made me wish I kept my older worlds save files. Was really fun to get to see all your builds over the years.
his had such a great nostalgic feel, it reminded me of my first times playing minecraft. It made me remember all my old projects and inspired me in a way that new worlds cant quite capture. Dont get me wrong, new ones are great, but there is nothing quite as pleasing as the simple satisfaction this gives you.
Hopefully scar doesn't Watch the videos and see X-eye-zuma naming those cats

Yeah me too! Only it wasn't on KZhead, it was some third-party app and I had no idea who he was. I only discovered it was him this year. I think that was when I actually started trying to do things in the game and build cool things rather than just make oak plank and cobblestone cubes and run away from creepers with stone tools (though I think I only actually started to get "good" at the game in the past year or so)
All these old building styles are bringing back so much nostalgia.
Scar is Amazing, The way he isolates areas and creates "feel" in those areas is astonishing. Thanks for the video Xisuma

I remember my first would back in 2011 where I made everything out of wooden planks and cobble. Sadly I can't find the world anymore :( Alot of memories from that world.
I always love tours of Scarland, but it's different seeing it with you and Cub in tow. Scar always makes me want to try new things and really push my building. He is an amazing builder and landscaper. Love your cat-tagging.

I remember coming across Scar's channel because of the Birch house. I was trying to figure out how to build a kitchen/dinning room and after seeing his take on it I just got sucked in. It's cool seeing Scarland again and being like, "Oh, I remember that!" Great video!
Goodness I have good memories about this world. The first time a friend convinced me to play Minecraft, after a couple of days he showed me how you were building this world. I remember the big mountains and scared landscape very good! I started watching yt videos (and you fo course) since then!
I was absolutely captivated by the level od detail put into everything in this world. The amount of time and effort that must have taken is mind blowing. AMAZING!!!!!

This has got to be one of the most single incredibly impressive Minecraft worlds I've ever seen! The biomes/terraforming looks far better than anything I've ever seen in modded biome generation too, it's absolutely stunning everywhere you look around! That Rollercoaster is one of the best builds I've ever seen too, and of course looks like an absolute blast to ride, along with the breathtaking landscape views in every direction! 👏👌

Before I watched youtube and stuff I had an app on my tablet of the episodes of Scar building the one house based of the christmas decoration. But at the time I had no idea who it was then as I started watching hermitcraft and scar I started wondering if it was Scar and this just confirms that it was Scar

I started playing in 2011. Seeing the builds in the beginning of the video take me straight back to an old server that I occasionally reminisce about. Good times. Back when you knew everyone on a server and there was a community. Good times.

I downloaded Scarland months ago and I have been through every project multiple times (except for Scarred Ranch that is). And I am thrilled that you had the same reaction I did!!! I remember all of this world Scar land I remembered his lets plays and watched all of this, and I found him on this world and fell in love with him ever since!
