Enjoyed watching the whole process of making jaggery!! It is a tough job. May the Good God bless the workers!! Some sort of white powder is being added to the sugarcane juice while it is boiling. (@ around 5:50 minutes.) What is this powder and what is the purpose of adding it to the juice ?)

Clean the sugar cane before putting it in the machine. After that, it will be easy for you. A lot of waste does not have to be removed while cooking. And generally we never use any extra ingredients in making jaggery. Please try it and you will see. Then your jaggery is 100% cane sugar. I know that. Second, after making jaggery, the work area and all equipment must be cleaned and covered. Then you can deliver pure and safe beautiful honeydew to the market. Now we live in a globalized society. People from all over the world live in the same city. So everyone can see how to make jaggery. If it is not done properly, people will not be happy when they see "jaggery", and even hearing the name jaggery may feel unpleasant. That means even people who do things right will have problems because of you. And it is a problem for the production of "jaggery". However, jaggery products are not redundant. May be this video is very old one or have been edited. I know some stupid people use such things because their intolerant mind
