The author of the book Al-Durra al-Masoona fi Scholars and Salha’s of Pune, and the character of al-Masha’ud, the author of the book “Shams al-Maarif al-Kubra”, Abu al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Yusuf al-Zanati al-Buni (d. 1225 AD), due to the similarity of names and nicknames only. Therefore, it should be noted that they are two completely different personalities. The first of the men of the 17th-18th century AD, the second lived in the 13th century AD, and the first was famous for jurisprudence, literature and mysticism. The second mixed mysticism with magic and witchcraft and was famous for that, and Ahmed bin Al-Qasim is the son of Bona originally and by class and one of her children, and he is a student of Sidi Ibrahim bin Toumi Al-Mirdasi Al-Buni, as for Ahmed Bin Ali Wan was known by the nickname "Al-Buni", his origin is only without mentioning his birth, and he died in Egypt in Cairo, and his lineage goes back to the Zenata tribe. The book Shams al-Maarif al-Kubra is considered the second most dangerous book on the surface of the earth after al-Azeef al-Hard, which caused the destruction of countless families in the Arab world. He introduced the "mad Arab" named Abdul alhazred , a protagonist of several short story series written by the author H.P Lovecraft during a time of mystic obsession. The necronomicon and the Al-Azif are simply two different languages talking a out the same fictional story prop by an author whom had not more magical abilities than a toaster oven. It's nice to see the world is full of fantasy involved individuals whom can't differentiate between fiction and reality. Guess now we know how the world get scammed by religions and astrologists claiming to be psychic!

This can’t be a coincidence! It wasn’t but few days ago give or take learned who Ahmad Al-Buni was and the book Shams Al-Ma’arif “which intrigued me a lot”! The history of the Middle East is amazing, but I hope the secrets that are still hidden under the sands will be revealed in my lifetime. As for the Arabic language, it’s in my top 3 favorite languages. Although I probably shouldn’t be learning more than one language at a time. But I can’t resist!

Some books have blinds in them a table that switches labels or a spell not finished in one book could be complete or partly accurate in another. . You have to compare other texts and dig to finally understand. People being k1lled for control of knowledge caused this, and most of it is still hidden. I agree with the original comment and I apologize for the long reply. Religion is for those who simply do not have the will to read between the lines but the will to improve on themselves. Those who practice hidden teachings, hidden because it was suppressed or because it's only available to a few (esoteric), are for those who use their religion as a foundation, know themselves, know where they stand in relation to God, and know that God cannot be known or defined by any one thing. One may know them as our spiritual leaders and specialists, or they may be an ordinary person standing behind them at Starbucks. There are a dime a dozen who say they're or were of the Occult, but have/had no foundation and as a result of pridefully messing with unbalanced forces inside themselves and out, they lose control of everything and then they tend to or are advised to convert to a religion, typically Abrahamic. Many who follow a religion are apt to have magic used against them and despite their faith in God for protection, which works well (in addition to my rituals I pray for protection, guidance, and a calm demeanor before going to work), they still get a bit of back splash. It's not God's fault that someone else slung mud, but just because he will protect does not mean his job is to keep one sqeaky clean, one still needs to protect themselves. The study and use of magic or the occult is a double edged sword for good or for evil, just as ones holy texts. Are swords inherantly evil or does it depend entirely on who is behind it? God has a sword, Satan has a sword too, but God is a warrior king is he not? Like all disciplined warriors he knows not to swing his sword wildly about or point it blindly at people who are not deserving of it, knowing what terrible power and skill he posses, should we not strive to be the same way as part of his host? Satan may be diciplined in some aspects but he loses control of his pride and his temper when things do not go his way. The aim of the occult is not to deviate from one's convictions or from one's God, it's to serve as artillery and shock troops on the spiritual battleground of the mysteries, lifting, strengthening and replacing foundation stones and building blocks piece by piece, if and when needed. The religious are foot soldiers who have started the process but don't go anywhere beyond basic training. If an occultist or anyone of any kind tries to compell and convert one away from their God or their convictions, then they are not to be trusted in general as their intentions may be or are not pure, and that is especially if they start coercing, bribing, threatening, mandating, calling you or others all sorts of names, gaslighting, scapegoating, bearing false witness, etc. Hmmm sounds familiar. That being said, who is anyone to tell me, their fellow neighbor, their fellow Christian, their fellow Muslim, their fellow Jew, their fellow Pagan, etc. that they're going to Hell? We are not God, we're just humans hiding behind books that we and billions of others give power to and love slinging mud at eachother over. We don't get the right or power to make those calls whether it's in our sacred texts or not. The sheer audacity and pride it takes to assume God's stances, and the amount of power they or others have based on things akin to spiritual How To Be Healthy: (x diet) recipe books. As funny as it is to see Muslims act like the stereotypical angry Christian Karens, because I can relate, it's actually really disheartening to see people from other beliefs lower themselves to that level in general. The study of Seher is not permitted the practice of it however is subject in halal and Haram sense to the means used and the intended outcome.

They are all regarded as Prophets of Islam and their stories are mentioned in the Qur'an. Jerusalem served as the first qibla (direction of prayer) for Muslims. Has nothing to do with language.

Have you people forgotten what Harut and Marut told the people of Babylon. They said we are a test from Alah and if you learn this evil from us you will be cursed , Then why are we here learning more about something that should be forgotten. “They followed what the Shayatin (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Suleiman (Solomon). Suleiman did not disbelieve, but the Shayatin (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two Angels, Harut and Marut, but neither of these two (Angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said, “We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us).” And from these (Angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah’s Leave. @@kingofdetroit358 No. None of us can summon the angels. It is not mentioned in any verses of Quran, hadith, or tafsir. Only Allah s.w.t can do that Angels only follows the command of Allah s.w.t. No one else. "To Him belong all those in the heavens and the earth. And those nearest to Him are not too proud to worship Him, nor do they tire." [Qs. al-Anbiya' Verse 19] The only way that we can summon the angels is by doing good deeds bcs they will (willingly) (and with Allah's permission) come to pray for us for doing good deeds.

@@kingofdetroit358 shams al-Ma'arif is a book of magic where all practices shown in the book are actually contradicting to the sharia law. Means that it is a book full of 'White Magic' instructions or in short, Sihr. Islam never teaches to summon anything.

QURAN is the only acceptable revelation from ALLAH. Hadith are man made and forbidden by ALLAH. ALLAH clearly says in Quran not to take any hadith or anything else besides the Quran!!!

@@afiqh9909 its not may or may not. There is no hesitation regarding the system decreed by Allah. The later hadiths are initiated by Shaytan and his shayateen (read the Quran 6:112), and the kitab of Allah is the only source of legislation and guidance (read 6:114).
@@ILOVEALLAH-dp6zm i mean I understand. But as i mentioned the Quran is the only legitimate source. And that the hadith or sunnah is just a supplication. In that being said, the latter serves more of a purpose to emulate the Prophet and his way of life. That is why some hadith are categorised differently such as weak or strong in terms of its authenticity as because it was only recorded by the companions. We too should not deny the entirety of the source itself as unfounded. Because who knows if those that compiled the hadith were those whom were with the prophet and that they thought of note taking it because of his act of filial to Allah SWT in terms of his actions, words and decree. Point being is take the Quran as a form of law, and that the hadith and sunnah are just alibis which may or may not be true.
i've been brainstorming and watching many of other shaykh speech about this book and anything that related to sihir, hizb, wafaq, mantra tamimah, tiwalah, etc.... Honestly, I think it is a stupid action for the narrator to even release this book so publicly... This kind of knowledge should not be make out public. From religion point of view, it will cause confusion among us believer ( muslim ), and led to fitnah, then separation of ummah.. From esoteric perspective, most people would learn from only a book or two or three who knows, and thereby I've seen alot of misguided practitioners who doesn't even look like a good person, keep proud about this stuff, even open a business for this kind of stuff, and so on... And you sure your faith is strong enough to handle the devil's whisper? The devil himself has a VERY WIDE KNOWLEDGES regarding this world, the universe, EVERYTHING and been living for ages. Even though you had read alot of kitab, it doesn't stop the shaytaan to deceive you. In verdict, regarding this occult stuff, if you interested in it, find the right teacher, with the right background and stick close to sunnah. You found A SMALL ERROR that makes you doubt, leave it. Anyway, there's so many confusion in the ummah nowadays... Many people have said " stick to the scholars, to the imam " but... this kind of stuff above makes me more confused...I wanna follow the real "raw" Sunnah, but some teachers said " FOLLOW THE SCHOLARS" and yet they still quarrel over some stuff are still 50/50( some say haram some say halal)..Its true that i have no power of istinbat my own hukum.. but whats the point of istinbat, if it is doubted. For me, do what you do best, and that is do good deeds everyday. Its doesnt matter how small your deed is, but do it everyday. be a regular muslim, that shows good examples to others, but also keep in heart, you are just a servant of Allah, everything you did is for the love of Allah.
You do realize that the so called "scholars" are also human too, right? I fully realize in Judeo-Christianity and Islam, especially in Islam, the idea of following the scholars are quite prevalent. However, I believe it also limits how far one can explore the vast knowledge of Islam.

It's so sad so many muslims are denying their history and roots. Yes Islam exists now, but obviously there were beliefs before Islam. This man is simply recording history, its ridiculous that so many comments are about how its haram for him to teach history. These are our ancestors. Have respect for them even if their beliefs were vastly different from your modern day beliefs.
If someone advised you not to, it is because its for your own good.. but people are different, some need to physically experience harm to understand well. Its not about comments, the largest scholars also advise not to try this stuff, and that is for a reason, even the people who use it don't spread it around cuz they know it is dangerous and wrong. My family are moroccan sufi and sheikhs no, not any person can simply use magic without paying a price (his life) (it also depends on the type of magic) :) The reason some told him not to, is because as i mentioned this can be dangerous for people who don't know much about it and try to practice it, some cases simply the read as the read usually contains summoning, names & prayers.
