The R8/Huracan V10 is a sound I would never get tired of hearing. I owned two RS3's over a 4 year period and never got bored of the 5 pot anyway.
They sound great to! Baby R8s. I even sometimes find it difficult to tell in some videos!
@@redemptionx2918 yes, with the right exhaust on an RS3 they sound quite similar.

Keep it up Joe, great content as always! It’s crazy the current R8 platform has been around for so long. In my opinion it looks so modern and fresh. Whatever Audi replace it with (if they decide to), it won’t be the same, mainly due to the beloved V10 being absent

Weather looks great and clear sky and roads look empty compared to your bike trip. What time of the year was this? Done a few road trips to france and Germany and Switzerland in those spectacular places after watching your video and stef ABtv. Keep going😊

How the Route des Grandes Alpes, Col de la Bonette, etc. is not absolutely flooded with supercars is totally beyond me. All that development work, yet the cars get stored away, appear on parking lots and inner cities. Everyone too afraid to put any meaninful numbers on the odo. You, Sir, did the right thing and I salute you for that!

Joe what is the benefit of shorter gear ⚙️ ratio? Love your channel
Quicker accellerating....the trade off is poorer fuel consumption
Much of the power and torque is high up in the revs in this 5.2L, shorter gearing means you can stay in that sweet spot easier and gain more performance essentially 👌
£198,333 you have to be kidding, not worth the money, the depreciation will be savage!

They missed the opportunity to put the manual gearbox from the first gen r8, which would makes it even more special given Audi no longer sell new cars with shift stick

In the beginning you said that Audi has changed the gear ratios, meanwhile at 15:15 you say that Audi Sport has not changed anything. How is that?
I meant Audi hadn't claimed to change software for the gear changes etc

Once the world goes full electric and these machines are no longer available, it'll truly b a very very sad day, I for one refuse to sell my Ford GT for that reason.
Audi should make bigger numbers of these fot half the price, just because they can, petrolheads will be petrolheads forever, they don't want an emotionless car like an EV is.
They go for 350k € in Germany … in 2043 this will go for way more…
