  • Shadya’s death will always be the worst to me. I have replayed Origins 3 times and everytime when I play that mission I just go on a big killing spree everywhere afterwards because it all happens so fast and you can’t do a single thing to save her, no matter how many times you reload the mission or try to be quicker, there’s just nothing you can do and it will never not hurt to see it. Such a sweet little kid that has done absolutely nothing wrong, just like Khemu, and Bayek, just like with his son, wasn’t able to save the girl. Origins really wasn’t afraid to show small children dying

    • I honestly like to play as Alexios, in some scenes he’s just so much funnier, one of the biggest examples for me is that scene in the beginning on Kephallonia when you meet the cyclops, one of the funniest scenes in the entire game! And I agree, Kassandra as Deimos just gives off a very different vibe, way better acting and tbh I never really could take Alexios as Deimos seriously, he just always sounds like a dumb, power-hungry moron to me, a bit more basic as a villian without much depth to the character. Kassandra as Deimos on the other hand is something else, she is terrifying. She gives you that nervous feeling when you’re talking to her, constantly making you worried about what you need to say to her to get her on your side. She’s mostly very calm and cunning, where Alexios as Deimos talks with anger and more force, but that calmness makes her way more terrifying. Also some mannerisms in the way she talks are just fantastic, with Kassandra as Deimos I always think about that one line she says in this video (right after Brasidas dies) “you always take everything so personally” the delivery on how she says it with that evil, menacing smile on her face is just perfect. In all honesty Kassandra is the better Deimos and you can’t change my mind about that.

The more you can handle, can see, can accept or can change in some instances is a showing of how much mentally and emotionally stronger you are... but I will admit that a line needs to be there somewhere. Otherwise we might as well be drained emotionally and mentally and become psychotic or sociopathic.

  • There would be no true engagement with the protagonist if there were no injustices performed in the world. I was hooked with the story of The Last of Us as soon as Sara dies. The same happened with Bayek and Khemu, hell, Ezio got to watch as most of his family were killed in front of him. Each and every character in AC has had some injustice, some measure of character buildup going on, and it has tempered their stories. Assassin's Creed is a game franchise generally rated Mature, so, I would say, they haven't gone far enough. There should be more blood and guts, the characters should be talking about how it smells, there should be a lot more raping, not one sided as well, from one side to the other, one gender to the other and vice-versa. See, rape is generally not about sexual desire, it's all about power. And power imbalances abound in the AC universe. Even if it crosses to a quasi pornographic depiction, it should be ok, since the games are designed for a mature audience.

    @Knibal999@Knibal9995 ай бұрын
    • No dude, assasins creed is not about violence, it's about wrong and right and how the two usually blur when it come to actual power on large scales, not small ones. You're just sick if you want to see gore and rape in a game about stealth

      @yasininn76@yasininn765 ай бұрын
    • @@yasininn76 really? in a franchise that has had at least 2 games where stealth was very diminished, when most weapons are not what anyone would call civil, hell, they use battle axes, longswords, lances, broken lances, hand to hand combat is way bloodier, yeah, it's all about stealth, Edward Kenway used 4 pistols. Sure, not about violence. Sure as hell you kill people in those games. There's also almost no way to go about AC on a no kill run. What I mean is that there's some intrinsic hypocrisy in the fact that 12 years after the hot coffee mod was released publishers still shy away from sex in games, but there's blatant violence everywhere else. Just a very doctored violence, very small pools of blood, hardly any dismemberment. I agree with you about the game being one of moral choices, in shades of gray, but war crimes are a fact of life and can alter history, they should be depicted, if sparingly. If you want to call me sick for it, so be it.

    • Just a shame that the chance for gay male fans to play as our own demographic was robbed from us to make only Kassandra "canon." And then only Kassandra appeared in valhalla alongside only female eivor being canon and having cinimatics that show this, essentially telling gay/bisexual male fans to get lost. Ubisoft are homophobic. They're like that guy who says he can't be homophobic because he likes lesbians.
