The main commentator did good. I've heard her call NWSL matches before and I like her energy. I'm not sure if this was the color commentator's first televised match but she did sound nervous which then affected her delivery. There are soooooo many nuances when calling a match. I think USSOCCER should pair new CCs up with veterans like Foudy, Wagner and Lindsay for a couple games.
Plus they're boring af. I had to put them on mute.

Wow, watching new players from Team USA and then Alex Morgan! best of lucks to USA, I'd like to see this team to be one of the bests of the world again. This team was the reference for many years.

A lot of wasted one timers...that's fine against bottom tiered teams, but against top ten teams, USA will get dispossessed and not control the ball as much!!

The Best uswnt is hard to choose, but when Lavelle, Horan, Press, Lloyd, Heath, Dunn, Morgan, Solo played together they were the greatest. I remember Hamm, Akers, Jenning, Lilly. They were very good and Wambach was a dangerous striker.
Dominican Goalkeeper is a great Goalkeeper. I'm just in love with her. She needs a good Coach. Her Domincan players are just not really good players at. They made her suffer. She made great saves. It could have been more than 5-0.
In reality, it wasn't like that, I'll explain to you, Dominican, and this was planned for months, we knew that we were going to play against the United States and the plan from the beginning was to protect the goal and it worked.
I hope Becky Sauerbrunn will score a goal for US!! She deserves it after playing on the national team for almost 16 years!!

There is lots of positivity to take from this game, how ever there is also a lot to do in the coaching sector at every level , in particular timing , passing and body movement in shot creation, in order to turn that positivity into an tough to beat confident side.with good well drilled squad replacements at each position, i wish Emma well .
Good to see the kids get to play, and win. But this Dominican team was greatly outmatched, and it won't be this easy with the better teams.

Disagree. still think Shaw might be their best player, Purce shined in this game, but her one move worked super well. Glad to see she was able to pass to the far post at least on one occasion. But Coffee, Nighswonger, all played excellent.
our coach used to drill in "a shot over the bar is a wasted opportunity". If a player did it more than once in a game they were fined or had to do the beep test". If you're not confident about getting on target then recycle the ball and keep possesion.

Este equipo yankee tuvo jugadoras de un nivel increíble años atrás. Hoy las Williams, las Purce y un par más ni deberían estar convocadas. Me pregunto que hubiera pasado si Sánchez, Swanson, Macario, Horan y Lavelle hubieran jugado. Tuvo que ingresar Morgan para darle al equipo una clase de distinción que no se vió. Dominicana habría perdido por más de 10 goles

Yes this team needs lots of work. It’s one thing to play this poorly against a team like the Dominican Republic what’s going to happen when we start playing top tier teams like Germany, Spain etc. There still a lot of Work to be done
Too many newbies that are very selfish...they will not do well against top ten teams!! USWNT will not control the ball and will tire out their forwards playing defense!! No cohesion since Jill Ellis left...

Swanson, Macario, Sophia, and Sanchez are my Olympics starters! If Macario can't make it, I'll take Shaw or Trinity as the 9. Sophia is a lock unless Purce continues to kill it. Swanson is the best player on the team. When she's fit, she's a lock. Watch the 2022 She believe Cup against Iceland. Are offense was fluid and dynamic

I'm playing the long game with this team. They are in a transitional period at the moment. Players will come and go until they find their identity. As of now, i don't see any serious improvement until after the Olympics. The current philosophy is outdated. They need to develop and build players not focus on intensity and competitiveness. Can these players create and play in a particular system? Btw? Uswnt was suppose to beat DR.

Alex wasn’t in the squad to begin with! It was only after Mia Fishel ruptured her ACL on Feb 19th that Alex then got a call up to replace her - most likely why she doesn’t have her number 13

Despite the scoreline this is the worst shooting I’ve ever seen. I was not impressed with toe tappers and their attempts to get a ball on the moon at least Morgan shows how to take a penalty

Probably not look at the forwards original called up a lot of speed but not any creativity. They all want to face up and go directly to the goal very little use of the width a lot of poor crosses passing was not that great. A lot of individual talent but not of team play and cohesiveness in the attack

It is a shame to see the stadium empty, but that is because of players like Rapinoe and although she is no longer there yesterday there are players who do not sing the anthem, they increasingly distance the public and are losing fans in the USA

The thing is, they were treating their fans very poorly. I attended a game in Utah, and 98.9% of the team didn't take the time to have a close encounter of gratitude with the fans, with the exception of Murphy, Saurbraunn & Hatch, the rest of the team walked right into the tunnel at the end of the match & didn't take the time to try & acknowledge the 21,000 fans that were in attendance that night. This was 2 yrs ago, & to this day, I don't have a desire to pay & watch them play due to their behavior of that night. Their attitude & actions left a bad taste in my mouth. The success definitely got to their head & became arrogant, cocky, & ungrateful. So these are the consequences, because I've heard they've done it in other places in the states. Hopefully, they learn from it & make things better, or they will continue to lose fanbase & take 10 steps back & all the way back to square 1

They should show gratitude to their fans because without them, they wouldn't have the life and success they do.
