The thankless job of being homemaker and psychology of Indian society of taking the homemaker for granted is so deeply rooted that the person who has been taken for granted not even realises something is wrong/unjust has happened with her

Most touching: When a deepak's mother asks her mother in law "kya hum bhi saheli ban sakte hai". When phool get her first earning When chhotu helped Phool to get sleep in his poor house ( people still very helpful for others ) lots of cry and laughs during the movie. Thanks Amir and Kiran mam for such a movie.

Watched this yesterday on OTT. No words, speechless. How can someone make such a good movie. Actually, this is not a movie, it's a CINEMA, ART. How some of the simplest of movies touch you so deeply. Send this movie to OSCARS, please. I don't know it will win or not, but will definitely get the due recognition. I am a grown ass man, and I cried like a baby yesterday, watching this. Such a good movie it is.

This was a heartwarming film. The anguish felt by Deepak at losing his young wife, the naïveté of Phool, the resourcefulness of Jaya, the formidable manju maai are characters that you genuinely root for. I cried and smiled throughout.

Every single character played amazing role. Manju tai was my favourite and I got tears when phool was leaving her. This movie is perfect blend of comedy, drama and at the same time it delivers the message to many. Must watch.❤

Give me such movies any day...as compared to movies with superstars, big budgets, lavish sets and action. Hats off...to all involved in making the film...but mostly to the main 4-5 characters...but then even the friends were fantastic💚

What a bold take on the aspirations of rural India. Ravi Kishan is definitely underrated. Seen the movie with my mom and we literally cried/laughed together. A must watch for every sensible theatre going audience.
