Both Aether Films and @lightcraft.tv have long been supporters and admirers of @DJIglobal and their product ecosystem, especially with their approach to @DJIpro. When the Inspire 3 dropped, we knew it would be a game changer for capturing certain shots, and there was no better way to display the ingenuity of our crew and the system than to document the process.
When a project came our way that matched the need for the Inspire 3, we worked alongside DJI to produce something special. We knew this job would have the perfect challenges for the I3, and allow us to reveal the technical specs and features that have quickly made this drone an essential tool in the Lightcraft arsenal.
In a rare screen time debut from the Aether Films and @lightcraft.tv teams, this short saw us pivoting roles from behind the camera to in front of it. And while we’re typically wrapped up with what’s going on behind the scenes, it’s great to share these seldom seen moments that capture the magic of our shoots!
We look forward to bringing the Inspire 3 out on many more shoots for both Aether Films and Lightcraft!

  • From everything I've heard and read, it's just as rock solid without the RTK and the RTK has shown not to be that reliable when doing repeatable routes versus without the RTK.

  • I found 12:23 to be the most useful part because he's right, the ProRes Raw footage does look like overexposed unsalvageable garbage until you can somehow bring the footage back to life with Resolve but the hard part is DJI has made it a mission for any inspire owner to learn how to make their footage look good without any useful tutorials out there or advice on proper color workflow with FCP or Resolve when editing ProRes Raw. You're basically in the dark on this one trying to figure out this drone for months

    • ETTR my friend. a prores raw workflow is a prores raw workflow, same as any atmos, ronin 4d or any other time you record prores raw
