He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audience to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. I am 81 and I've probably listened to every song (except country) ever written and sung by the best there ever was.. and I can honestly say "SOS" by Dimash Qudaibergen is my all time favorite. He is a prophet.. which you may soon discover. Thank you! If you're looking for parameters and boundaries with Dimash's voice.. or with Dimash himself.. it's simple.. there aren't any. He can sing and do anything that has to do with show business.. with one big difference.. he sings with pomp and grandeur and most times there is a message with his song. All great suggestions but I think the best version of Olimpico is from Dimash’s 2019 solo concert (rather than New Wave) on Igor Krutoy’s channel. The one with the ring of lights in the thumbnail.

This digital concert was put on during covid, cos he couldn’t tour. We all watched it at the same time, around the world. At a time when we were all separated from loved ones, it helped make us feel connected. Try Stranger from New Wave 2021. I just saw Dimash sing the best Happy Birthday song to a fan at a concert videoed Dimash World YTer and then Dimash sang the most INCREDIBLE version of Autumn Strong, which I've heard many times before but not like this. He included it the fans. They responded It was pretty cool. Should check it out. You're an instant Dimashed Dear fan. I just found something that was put on about 5 hours ago. Thought you would enjoy too. It may not be when you decide to pick as your next reaction to. Because there's more mind blowing ahead. Stranger and Olympico are good ones. Stranger is in English. Just fyi i would not suggest you see The Story of One Sky yet, it is a heart breaking and masterful MV, which is hard to watch. Its not one to start with. Wait til u have seen at least 10 or more. Some u could see first are: Love is Like a Dream, Ikanaide, Screaming MV, Marigolds at Kiev concert, If I Never Breathe Again at any concert, Passione, Zaylyn, a short Mood Video, Omir Oter, Battle of Memories in Macau last year, Dudurai, also in China last year and definitely The Pearl Fishers duet with Placido Domingo, amazing! There are many more really great performances, please continue with your Dimash journey, you will not be disappointed.

Not sure if you noticed but he sings in French here. :) This is the digital concert he offered fans during Covid, so not only was he giving his all but there was no audience. A live performance. He is sweating her because he had alreayd sung two songs. Next, I suggest you check out Stranger, Sinful Passion, Ave Maria, Love is Like a Dream, Your Love, Ogni Pietra (Olympico).
