  • I just need to say this and I know it'll never reach Joyner, but my daughter has severe ADHD and she has a hard time putting her emotions out into words. She was in the bedroom when I was listening to ADHD, the song, and she heard the lyrics, and came over and just listened to it. Asked me to play it 4 or 5 times in a row, she broke down crying and when she settled she said that your song described how she felt all the time. She's 8. Thank you for helping her put into words how she feels.

  • To anyone reading this that has ADHD… we’re different. We’re weird and obnoxious and we’ll never be the same as everyone else, but that’s only because our destiny is greater than theirs. We may struggle living life by conventional means but when we get on our own path we can change history. This song focuses mostly on the negative parts of ADHD, and both the song and video are beyond just accurate for me. the things we suffer together that Joyner geniusly words may make life hard sometimes but remember that there is more to us than just a disorder. We’re meant for greatness, don’t let the rest of the world push you down because you’re different.

    • Agreed my dude. Ive had adhd since I started school. Im 30 now. Honestly I thought about what you said in the most literal way. I think alot of us suffering were or still are meant for things greater than we can comprehend. Call me crazy but I think the government was onto something medicating us for "adhd" at such a young age. Maybe we were or are still a threat to them. Maybe they knew how mentally inclined we would eventually be, almost like we were a threat. So they continue to prescribe us meds at crucial development stages in a human body that claim to help. But if you know anyone that has been down that road you would know that those medications are nothing but a bandage to us...... the companies formulating these meds are the ones causing the "wounds" for us to need that "bandage". Ive been clean for almost 3 years now, my drugs of choice were amphetamines unfortunately, Ironically i discovered it after my prescriptions and insurance ran out and I couldn't afford the medication anymore. I remember my first time doing crystal, it took me all the way back to grade school when my mom used to force those pills down my throat so I could focus in school. It literally felt almost exactly the same. Except the fact i couldn't sleep for days as opposed to insomnia from using prescription meds. Honestly there is almost no difference between the 2. Its sad really. And they still make and prescribe these meds for our children now but its ok because they call it Adderall and not meth right? Almost everyone i know that has adhd or has been diagnosed with adhd at some point are familiar with these meds. Have you ever thought about how we would be if we didn't take those medications so early on in life? Sounds like a big mistake from big pharma for me, or maybe it is no mistake and they know EXACTLY what they're doing. Sad as hell most of us will die without ever knowing any truth

  • I got diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. I’ve been struggling with building relationships with people and my own emotions due to the symptoms of ADHD. I cried when I listened to this song for the first time. Because I was thinking I was just lazy and not good enough for anything or anyone, inside of my head is always mess thinking about so many unnecessary things even when I wanna focus. It made me feel better to know there are other people feel the same way as I’ve been feeling. I’m not the only one.

  • I’ve never heard this song until today. I’m 33, didn’t get diagnosed until I was 17. I didn’t really understand what ADHD was fully, until recently. I have been sober for almost a year, found out my dad has stage 4 cancer last December, marriage struggles, and 2 kids with ASD & ADHD (husband also). All of the new and different stress has brought out a next level feeling inside of me. Well multiple..and until a month or so ago, I thought it was hormones. No. It’s my ADHD. It has been SO fucking hard living inside of my brain. I always knew I was different, but I masked so hard, that I was somewhat able to come off “normal”. Finally hearing that everyone else feels the way I do, makes me feel so much validation. Thank you Joyner for this song for us to relate to, and to show others they’re not alone. Thank you comment section, you guys get it♥️

    • Highly doubt your entire family has ADHD considering how rare it is in women but okay. Also not everything you fail at in life is because of ADHD.. stop using it as a crutch and get therapy and/or medication.

      @gb342002@gb342002 Жыл бұрын
    • A. I am a human with feelings. B. I am in therapy, and on medication. C. It’s not rare in women, I’m not sure where you got that from..women are commonly misdiagnosed, because they tend to be more inattentive. D. If you have ADHD, you should know that it’s a thing that you struggle with daily. I also didn’t say everything I fail at was because of ADHD. I simply stated that I’ve recently learned some of the things I do struggle with, have to do with it. E. If you’ve ever done research, you’d know that 75% of the time, it’s hereditary. I literally got it from my mom, my siblings both have it as well. ALONG WITH MY HUSBAND, AND MY TWO KIDS. I pray that you heal from whatever hurt you have, because you don’t treat strangers expressing their feelings on a damn KZhead video, like that. It was my birthday yesterday (as of 30 mins ago) and my dad died 2 days ago. Maybe you should think about what you say before typing it out..you never know what someone else is going through. It’s not hard to be kind.

    • @Jay Vasquez theres nothing wrong with autotune. It's just an effect like reverb, delay, chorus, compression, etc. Autotune cant fix bad singing. Bad singing will still be bad singing whether or not you have autotune or not. Autotune just gives a different vibe and atmosphere compared to dry vocals.

      @imanafdar@imanafdar4 жыл бұрын
    • @@imanafdar 1. Quavo is a Migo so why the fuck did you include him in your list. 2. Their use of autotune is for rapping which is different when using it for singing. Adding autotune to a rap verse is kinda like adding a flanger to a a synth or an instrument it's goal is to add a little bit of a metalic tonality to the instrument. It's primary goal is no longer pitch correction in that context. When it comes to rhythm based instruments such as rapping or drums humans overlook pitch and focus on the rhythm. This is the only reason rap even works or exists in the first place. And Migos dont even use autotune for every song nor does Quavo who is a Migo; dont believe me go listen to "That's Tuff" he doesnt use autotune for the most part and if he does it's super subtle and not noticeable.

They created Hollywood and Porn and many other pawns to achieve this evil. Seminal ejaculation is why G-d sent the flood to destroy the people in Noah’s day. And now G-d will send Fire to destroy the USA and the world. The USA is the 2nd beast from revelations. The 7 churches are the bodies 7 chakras. Jesus taught these things including reincarnation and karma but the Pope with the Catholic Church rewrote and perverted. Remember to have a true relationship with G-d is to not ever ejaculate the sperm for it creates and draws demons to men! The point of sex is not ejaculation for it is the sin that got Adam cast out of eden. The point is to do work of Abraham to escape this cycle of reincarnation and the evil one Yaldabaoth who in Greek is Cronos. All religions come from Christ for Abraham Buddha Vishnu Thoth Hermes would tell you this. Please read the pistis Sophia. Gnostic teachings online. Gnostic gospels. The perfect Matrimony and the book of revelations.

  • I"m 30 and I have struggled with ADHD my whole life and he really sums up the pain of having ADHD. The meds change your personality, and give you crazy anxiety. People who have it are often mistreated/misdiagnosed, they don't tend to always be successful in mainstream society/work/school. People think of them as stupid and impulsive/crazy and they aren't, only misjudged. As teenagers many of them cope with substance misuse, but aren't addicts at all. ADHD is technically a certified mental disability, but many don't even know they really have it. We are simply misunderstood. Thank you Joyner!

Every detail to the video everything. Growing up my freinds always said you needed meds for adhd but my family always told me I was normal or would be fine and shun out the feelings I had about it. I don’t hate anyone for anything because I definitely know it’s hard to understand but it just has left me scared and basically makes me hide or turtle shell my feelings. I’ve felt so scatterbrained and lost for so many years and it’s so hard half the time either way to even open up or let out what I want to say. To everyone that took part in making this song and video thank you from the bottom of my heart. Reading these comments have shown me that I’m not alone and that helps me so much.
