  • I am a die hard Suns fan.. i remember when my Suns were the two seed playing the 7 seed Lakers in 2006.. everyone was picking the Suns to win in four or five... I remember telling everyone that would listen..... "but they have Kobe Bryant!".. to most, including all the sports analysts, it didn't matter, the Suns were so much better as a team.. but I knew better. Kobe Bryant at that time was the most dangerous player in the NBA.. going into that series, I was terrified. I thought that the Suns could be the first two seed to lose to a seven seed in decades. And I was right almost, Kobe Bryant darn near won that series all by himself, took the Suns to 7 games! Kobe Bryant was the second most clutch player (Jordan being first) I've ever witnessed with my eyes. In my humble opinion, he is the second greatest basketball player in history. I know there is a Jordan vs LeBron debate.. but I agree with Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson, y'all just going to pass Kobe Up!?! If I wanted to win a game 7 with all the chips on the line, I take Kobe over LeBron 10 out of 10 times. Kobe Bryant is an assassin... Not only is he the second greatest player that ever lived, but I don't think it's even close. LeBron James is definitely top five, but he ain't no Kobe.. as a Suns fan, I never once feared LeBron James like I did Kobe Bryant.

  • Move at 2:27 was probably one of the goat off the backboard moves. He did this during the 2008 playoffs in a competitive 6 game series against the Utah Jazz Most usually do it for show. Kobe actually had a tactical use to split the double team. Blow by two defenders to get a basket in a crucial part of a playoff game.

  • Watching Kobe is like watching an action film. Sometimes the guy does so much amazing shiz, for a moment you can forget he has human limitations. Like, for a moment I believed after swatting that break away, that he might get the rebound and run it back. Like what he did already was so amazing, but for a moment I was waiting for him to do more. Then I remember, that he was indeed human, maybe a little bit super human, but yeah. Human.

  • It's so sad how kobe met his end man. I was watching kobe bryant from when he first came into the nba, and even when he made his first all star appearance in 1998. Saw that kid grow up his entire nba career from number 8 to 24. Always admired kobe, he was a great fiery player. To see how he died man was so terrible. 😕 and the autopsy photos how his body was absolutely destroyed and mutilated in that plane crash. So damn sad. Long live kobe 🙏.

  • 2:45 -- YEAH! That's a Kobe shot! Kobe shots are very hard to make... The body contortion, the degree of angles and forces involved, the intellectual mastery of planning. That was the reason Kobe dominated. The smartest man in his entire era of basketball. Jeremy Lin may have gone to Harvard, but Kobe was definitely smarter... Kobe scored nearly PERFECT on the SAT, and like 33 out of 36 on the ACT test. He could have played for Harvard too.

  • Many players had athleticism and used that but Kobe worked to become great and I think his work ethic was head and shoulders over everyone else in NBA history. He never took a day off and stayed working in the gym and mastered the game. He is one of the most skilled players if not the most skilled player in NBA history in my opinion. Kobe was like an artist on the court because his ball handling skills and the way he moved around the court was art. His jumpshot and fadaway was like art, and it was amazing to watch Kobe for 20 years. Legends will never die, R.I.P. Kobe Bryant, you will be forever missed but NEVER forgotten.
