Remember Diesel, our lovable red kitten with that unforgettable purr? I've got to tell you his story, from the days of playful kittenhood to his acts of kindness that always warmed our hearts. We adopted a pregnant cat named Tessa, a longhaired British breed. Tessa gave birth to three kittens of different colors. Then we found an abandoned kitten in the park and named him Kiki because he looked a lot like a cat girl named Kiki. A gray cat named Bonya with three kittens Chris, Сoсo, Сuсu and now they also live with us.

    • This is so heartbreaking 😭💔😭💔 I wish the 2nd Owner or whoever it was that didn't notice he was sick would have taken him 2 the Vet😢💔 1 of the Cats @ the Cat Show was most likely sick & he got sick from it😢💔 I'm so sorry it was 2 late 2 take him 2 the Hospital😭💔 He probably could have caught the problem in time😭💔 He was so Adorable 💕💔😭 I'm so sorry he didn't live very long💔😭 I'm so sorry 4 your Loss💔😭 Love, Prayers & Hugs.

  • This is heartbreaking. I am 77 years old, grew up on a Illinois farm and the only time in my life I have not had a cat with me was when I was in the Marines in '63 to '66. A cat was the first thing in life I remember and will be the last thing I see when I blink out. I can't imagine living life without a cat.

  • Muy triste su historia, no estoy de acuerdo que perros o gatos esten en exposicion para qúe sus dueños ganen premios.     • This poor kitten didn't have it easy from the get go and yes kitten died to early the owner should have noticed and paid attention to the kitten taken it to the vets the owner didn't give a crap about the kitten just herself

  • This made me sad and upset. A cat friend is not a thing or vehicle to get awards; he or she is your child and companion. You tend to their needs first, your own afterwards. He should have grown old in a warm, loving home with no cares other than playing and cuddling. So sad…

  • Some people don't deserve the love of a pet....my Frankie just passed last year..he was 19 but I wanted him longer...he looked like Diesel but was not a long haired cat....I still have Annie , a tuxedo & Lulu a grey cat but I miss my Frankie ...He was dumped on our street as a kitten and when he appeared on my kitchen window sill...I opened the window and he walked ....he never went near that window again....RIP SWEETHEART

    • I cried for Diesel and my heart ached for his owner who behaved greedily and caused the death of the beautiful Diesel. Diesel was a unique and special cat and he was very similar to my cat Simba. Now Diesel and Simba are playing in the sky.🥺😭💔🩵💙

  • The world is pure evil and it is impossible to feel safe about letting others take care of a cat, or anything. I've had to RErescue cats from abusive or neglectful adopters, and I hate it, and them, with a passion. At least Diesel got a fun year. I've seen many get less. A stray gave birth here last Friday morning, and abandoned the three kittens. No matter how hard I tried, one died at 43 HOURS old, and another died at 102 hours. That was just over an hour ago, and no, I'm not handling it well. This is a horrible, disgusting world, and fighting the darkness is a losing battle. But there is very little point in not trying to fight back against it. So I'll raise a glass to Diesel. You deserved so much more, furry angel. You deserved so much more.

  • In the 70ies, we rescued kittens and for the most part kept them on our farm. But one family came to us in search of a kitten and we gave them a friendly little black one. For free, of course. They brought him back after a few weeks and said they didn't want him any more. Their little children chased him and annoyed him for hours every day, mistreated him and thought he was a toy. He was skinny, afraid and had digestive problems (because they did not let him eat in peace). It took us months to gain his trust again and pamper him back to health. We were so distraught because we gave him to those people. I tear up after all these years when I think of the day we saw him again. We were responsible for the miserable life he had there. We never again gave a kitten away after this.

  • Listen...what happened to Diesel was not your fault and will NEVER be your fault. You gave him love and care and thought the best for him by giving him a new home when you couldn't be that home for him any longer. The ones to blame was the person you gave him to and the person she sold him to. The former tricked you and the latter only cared about the fame and prizes. Neither cared about him and his health, only treating him like something without a soul for their own greed. If anything the latter deserves at least some form of punishment for not noticing nor caring at all when he fell ill, heck she should be banned from doing these shows due to neglecting his health. Don't blame yourself for his eventual fate as you never knew what would happen after he left your home. He is most likely now watching over you and purring his special purr from heaven. Here's some advice: if you still have the information of the woman that you gave Diesel away to, warn other foster homes and cat owners about her so she can never pull this stunt again and endanger another innocent cat.

  • Pobre gatito, eso de exhibirlos no me parece tan lindo pero pudo contraer una enfermedad donde sea como la leucemia. Yo adopte a un gatito notamos los sintomas al año cuando se manifesto un cuadro de asma severo, estuvo en tratamiento pero solo vivió 5 años, era triste ver que pudo ser contagiado por su madre u otro lugar antes de llegar a nosotros porque solo él fue positivo para la enfermedad. Cruza el arcoíris bello y esponjos Diesel!!!

  • Não dá pra entender q uma pessoa desde seu nascimento, o tenha salvado e depois o tenha doado, eu jamais faria isso, porq esse gatinho era especial!   • Queste persone sono orribili. Già il fatto che prenda un gatto o un cane per pensare di farli gareggiare è orribile. Sono sottoposti a stress e comunque considerati oggetti. Poveri 💕 amori meravigliosi che sono una benedizione. Purtroppo vengono anche sfruttati per i cuccioli e chi lo fa è perché non vuole lavorare.   • That is so disgusting, i had many kittens and always ended up not giving them away 5 of my once 20 strong cat family remain today all over 7 yrs old but still loved and cherished… i could never give a kitten away, they trust you and to betray that trust is beyond imagining…poor cat from being pampered to be neglected in under a year disgusting
