I suspect more like counting on his name&fame inflating the prices so it makes sense for him to periodically sell them off to capitalise on that extra value. Then he'll buy new ones and after a while of attaching his name&fame on them, sell those off too. Not that I'm saying that was his intention from the start. He clearly really liked some of those cars and bought them because he was genuinely enthusiastic about them and wanted to enjoy driving them.
Even if it’s marked down to the basement…he can’t afford a Veyron. I can’t imagine how much it costs to keep a non-pristine version of the model on the road. Makes me almost shiver thinking about it! Those things are maintenance nightmares!

He is and was. I met him when I was 12 and dropping in Motorcars of Atlanta, and he gave me a ride in a Murci. It flipped a switch in my head and made me a huge car person. He was and is incredibly kind.

The fact that it has practically the same engine as the F12, that would be such a badass daily. If there were such a thing as a "sleeper Ferrari", that would be it since it's a wagon of sorts.

Sounds like Ed is trying to straighten out his tax situation BEFORE the end of the year. That might require him to spend X amount, but he found some sick car, so he needs to sell a few to round up the balance of the cash. That would be my guess. A lot of times, you either need to spend a bunch on a "company car" or you get to just spend that same amount in taxes. That'd be my guess😂

Don't worry Ed. I went through the stages of grief when I started having a midlife crisis too. Here's how it goes. Stage 1 - denial - sell the FF Stage 2 - anger - blame the Murci Stage 3 - bargaining - keep a comfortable car for the kids and an uncomfortable one Stage 4 - depression - no longer fits in the merci Stage 5 - acceptance - gets a GLS and rides around in bounce mode
Why sell the FF worse move then a Murci to a GLE 😂😂 Sell me a v12 next buddy

As a normal person, not a bitcoin billionaire, trust fund baby or real estate magnate, out of every Ferrari, even more affordable ones, the only one I'd ever be interested in actually putting MY money into, it's the FF/ GTC4 Lusso. Usually, when the wealthy clean house it's what we call a leading indicator of SHTF. You are bang on Ed - take some of that money and build an underground bunker - replace your supercars with very slow and old tractors and farmland. Maybe then you'll survive what's coming.
