Haney's have been successful up to Devin's Loss to Ryan. Moving forward, The Haney's are not dumb people - I am sure they will make the Correct decision.
If a cornerman CANT get a simple message through to his own fighter when hes getting nailed by the very shot the guy is known for, then he aint much of a cornerman.

@aaroncunningham8944 Ben Davison is an ocean away from him & I dont see where their styles & personalities match up, other than they both like to play the points game. Id guess he would be better with an American coach & keep his father outside the corner set up. Hes already worked with many Yank coaches who have been in world champions coaching set ups, including Mayweathers coaches, Emmanuel Stewards coaches, Zab Judahs coaches. Theres no shortage of them in America. More than a coach he needs a cornerman who can get through to him & not every good coach is a good cornerman & visa versa.
Fight guys smaller than Devin why you think his dad was all over Pitbull Cruz after he beat Rolly huge size advantage weight had nothing to do with him losing to Ryan If you tell someone to meet you in the middle at least be able to defend yourself against only punch Ryan has 1 punch and it took Ryan 30 seconds to land it good training Bill Haney Bills mouth wrote a check Devin couldn't cash
Great Honest interview. Bill needs to put his PRIDE aside and have a real trainer in there. If not, Devin career will be cut down bc the comp will only get tougher!
His dad ensured Devin didn't have a personality so that he could have a job in promoting his fights being his mouthpiece but it should stop there. Let the professionals do the work they know what they are doing.

They all speaking out of bad faith most of these guys never trained a unified champ let alone undisputed 2 division champ nobody said get a new trainer after Regis buy after a bad performance it's get rid of what's been working up until now and everybody complaining bout the clinching which is customary when u hurt and if he didn't do it everybody would have said "u were supposed to clinch" and at the same time nun of these hindsight no it alls say anything about Ryan turning his back whenever he ran out of options all I could think is what would people say if dev turned his back at anytime

When I used to spar with Deven he would losen his glove and get a time out any time he'd get hit hard. Since he was paying us we couldn't call him out for it. I'm really greatful for the times Deven and his pops aka big dirt would have me out to spar. I won $8,700 on the Garcia vs Haney fight, I knew Ryan was going to win.
No chin, no power, the Haney have have had a good run but the game is up. He was at 135 for years for a reason. They knew he would get flattened at the weight he should really be at.
Haney has worked with Mayweather Sr., Ben Davidson, Mickey Bey, and several other good trainers. He just had his weaknesses exposed in reality. Plus he had been hurt in fights by much smaller opponents.

Oh please. Tell that to Loma and kambosos. Haney was 30 pounds bigger than both of them. Plus Haney agreed to fight when he didn’t have to. He literally said, “it doesn’t matter what weight Ryan is, he is a C level fighter and I’m going to get this guy out of boxing for good” 🤦♂️ quit acting like the fight would have been different if Ryan weighed in at 140 instead of 143. Ryan still would have caught Haney and hurt him throughout the fight, straight dominating

Not that it matters anyway because this person's comment only stated that Ryan being 3.2lbs over the weight limit made a major difference. They didn't mention who signed what or what Devin bragged about before the fight. Devin could've promised to knock Ryan out of the arena and that would be irrelevant. Either it's true or not true that the power puncher had an advantage weighing in a half division up over his opponent🤷🏾♂️

Haney has been protected his entire career. It should be obvious for anyone to see the level of protection Haney got from the referee in the Garcia fight for the level of excessive holding which should have been stopped by deducting points and or disqualification if continued. There was also constant low blows, rabbit and kidney punches, holding and hitting etc etc. Haney is a fraud who should have lost by a very wide margin to little tiny Lomachenko who exposed him and was disgracefully robbed
