The No. 5 Seminoles remained undefeated after defeating Virginia Tech 39-17. Virginia Tech's Bhayshul Tuten scored touchdowns going into and coming out of halftime to cut the FSU lead to 22-17, but then Trey Benson went off. Benson scored touchdowns of 62 & 85 yards to seal the win for the Seminoles. He finished the game with 200 yards and two scores on 11 attempts. Jordan Travis was 18-24 for 170 yards throwing the football with two touchdown passes to wide receiver Johnny Wilson. For Virginia Tech, Tuten finished the game with 210 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns.
We don't look perfect, but we look as perfect as anyone else has looked this season.
I’m gonna call it right now Conrad Hussey is our next Jalen Ramsey, watching how he breaks on the ball and a full steam ahead he’s gonna be a great one. And only a freshman oh boy

Free Benson with a super breakout games I hope that it continued for the rest of the seasons with the other back in company as well in Jordan Travis need to look for other receivers not just Coleman and Johnny because there has been lots of time our other receivers has been left wide open easy completions big gains and maybe touchdowns on some of them
As an Oregon fan I'm glad to see him go off, his speed is incredible. Florida States QB was throwing some dimes in the first half as well.

11:26 We had a ball game for about 2 minutes before the VT defense does what it does best, which is give up 60+ yd rushing tds when they have all the momentum.

Jordan Travis missed some easy throws in the 2nd Quarter. Looks like he is still playing timid and hurt. Norvell can't get past page one on offense in his playbook too.
Please, continue to score plus 31 haven't allowed any team to score 30 plus. They continue to cover the spread. The red zone defense is off the chain. To this point. There is a point in the game that the defense shut down the opposing offense. The offense just continues to score. What did I liked about this game? They did it by air in the 1st half. They ground and pound in the 2nd.
Eff the ACC and their bias refs too. Need to meet those refs in the parking lot.
There was a stretch of plays in the 3 rd quarter where I swear it seemed like a flag got thrown on 10 or 11 consecutive plays on both sides🤦 but then they would miss an obvious helmet 2 helmet call or pass interference 🤬
26 was out to hurt players dirty player watch how he looks back at johnny after the hit 12:02 and finally got ejected for targeting on Travis. Hate players like that

I disagree. Box score VT was 14-27, 104 yd net passing. The Noles weakest area: Penalties: 12-99 yards.

@brothermouzone1307 I hear you but I've been watching my Seminoles since 1990, I know what I see.. We don't pursue the ball well enough, we don't tackle well enough and our secondary is not good enough for the chip right now... I don't care what you say.... It may get better tho, hopefully!
Maybe look at the refs then. We did not commit NEAR 9 penalties and it was obvious who was being favored in the first half. Several times a ref swallowed his flag after reaching for it to throw on a VT player. Awful awful product from the ACC. At least they’re consistent.

@@Himothy_da1st no. Each game this season should’ve been a blowout win for us. We’ve been playing to each teams level so far. Clemson being the worst play calling ever. Just throw it up for the tall receivers. Ik norvell is tryna figure it out but he better get them on a groove before playoffs

See here's the thing ppl forget about when teams like FSU or UGA caliber type play so called average teams.. almost every player on every P5 team in college football was atleast 2nd best or if not the best player at their high school. So any team could beat any team any week. You never know..
You are correct about starters on a P5 team, but how far the talent goes down the depth chart is what makes teams great.

This game was much closer than the score against a 2-3 team at home. I'm sorry but FSU is not an elite team. I love the noles, but we lose a game somewhere down the road and end up in the cheez it bowl. This team could easily have 2 losses without some luck!
VT has some players and they were playing to win. This was a great win for the Noles. The outcome was never in doubt.

No the game rlly wasn’t as close lol VT had penalties to help them out and they only scored 10 points offensively against our defense besides the kickoff just be happy we won by 22 and stop crying
Name a team with a schedule as difficult us ours that looks better than us this year besides MAYBE Georgia. Also this game was "close" for a total of 30 seconds at the very beginning of the 3rd Quarter. FSU maintained a 2 score lead for over 80% of the game, or 95% if you exclude the amount of time it took them to go up by 2 scored in the first place.
@WillyOrca 100% agree. If rankings were based on strength if schedule and team performance we would be number 1. Michigan hasn't done jack this year and ACC this year is a much tougher conference than the Big 10.
