  • The 'It would go away if men stopped paying for it' argument is so dishonest. By that same logic, we shouldn't arrest drug dealers because if no one bought the drugs they'd be out of business as well. But man bad, woman good, and thus everything flows from that dogmatic belief with these people.

    • I don't think it's dishonest, she's just talking about supply and demand. Drug dealers wouldn't have a job if no one bought the drugs; same goes for the sex industry. Granted, acknowledging this paradigm doesn't change the facts on the ground. People will always desire sex and drugs; placing blame doesn't typically change behavior.

      @sarahg2653@sarahg265316 күн бұрын
    • @@sarahg2653It's also perfectly normal to desire sex and only a little out of place to seek drugs that make you feel good (refined sugar, caffeine, cannabis, etc). So demonizing the desire itself helps no one and as long as there's a desire someone will be willing to trade themselves, money, resources, and so on in exchange for something/someone else.

      @jnharton@jnharton16 күн бұрын
    • Your comparison doesn’t track because drugs actually affect people that don’t so drugs in the form of homicide or other serious crimes. OF literally just occupies the time of liberal simp men that would worship terrible women in any other capacity. The women are also also damaged and unmarriable before they get in. It’s revolting behavior, but it literally doesn’t change the lives of men that don’t use it.

    • Its the desire for human female interaction. Most real life women in their lives are not desireable for them or already taken or are career driven females who have been told to not have a family and focus only on career, so with the real women avenue closed men are turning to OF and paying for human female contact but who they are paying includes the males who are replying posing as the female on OF. • 03:59. To add to what Hannah-Claire was saying, it's not only "not being wrong", it's not caring if they are, because it provides them what they think is necessary for a desired outcome, which a particular politician will PROMISE them it is, as long as they ensure said politician gets more power and political control. The messaging and marketing around the "necessary support" for a policy that might be detrimental to the interests of women is DELIBERATELY deceptive, because the person pushing for it is doing it to further his or her OWN personal career and financial interests, and by the time that those "consequences" goes full circle, the person who originally sold the defective goods will have enough political power to shield him or herself from any fallout. On the odd chance it doesn't, the usual response by a politician is either to say that the original "changes" weren't sufficient to give the "right level" of the outcome that was originally promised (essentially digging the hole deeper for others to fall in by getting them to give him or her a BIGGER tool to dig that hole) or trying to reverse a disastrous decision by making people forget he or she was the one who originally pushed for it.

People are lonely, and if they want to spend their money chatting with robots or men masquerading as women, that's their prerogative. There are men out there who would never spend a dollar on an OF subscription, but would rather reverse engineer the business model and capitalize on it. Women don't have the market cornered. This is capitalism. You want to throw people in jail for that? Why don't we throw Berkshire Hathaway in prison for putting the word "Diet" in front of coke, insinuating it's healthier for you? Why don't we throw McDonalds in prison for having a "Dollar Menu" where nothing costs a dollar? I see your point, but I'll be the first to admit that it's not my place to tell people how to spend their money. That's on par with Gavin Nuisance banning menthol cigarettes.

  • What if men are better with business? The men doing the money part, the women doing the rest. Who cares if they are both agree on it? I wouldn't pay for anything like that, but I don't care if someone does. I mean we are paying 100 billions to Ukraine, that's way more money than handing 5 bucks to a hot woman, right?

  • The cultural shift to non conformity had largely to do with the invention of the television and the popularization of automobiles. That led to suburbs being popularized and corruption able to be physically seen. Because suburban living is copy paste, it instilled a teenage resentment of being the same. Then the Vietnam war broke out, the United States government leaned into corruption to save face. All the death and mutilation was shown on national media and a flame was lit under the nonconformity desired as a result of suburbanization. It all started in 1945-1960 ish depending how you argue it.

  • See that Neets storyline ends for me at "come grab drinks" It's not going to happen. I've been invited out to bars a handful of times and once the people I'm with realize I do not drink. No exceptions. I don't get invited back out again. That's been the consistent pattern for the last 11 years. You are permanently on the back foot if your not drinking. Even moreso if you aren't Christian and in other non drinking circles.

  • First thing it’s sad and pathetic that males pay for this. Sex is easy to find or get for free. But, it won’t be a supermodel. I’m an ugly bastard but I’ve never had an issue. I also agree on the fraud but this is like many things a slippery slope. It could end up like language is now everything could become fraud.

  • 1. Who would date Taylor Swift knowing that she's going to turn around and write a whole album about them when things go south. 2. Why is Taylor Swift being pushed so hard? I listen to nothing that at all intersects with Taylor Swift nor consume any media which does, and yet she's still advertised to me for some reason.

    @ZoMbIEx23x@ZoMbIEx23x17 күн бұрын
    • 1. She's dated more people than she's written albums about. You don't know that because you don't research popular culture. 2. She is pushed so hard because she's one of the largest artists in the world and her name means clicks. Also, you're online talking about right now so that doesn't help. If you interact with a term in any way, negative or not, the KZhead algorithm doesn't differentiate between positive or negative. No there is no conspiracy theory as to why she is pushed. Do a world stadium tour and become a billionaire and let's see how many people talk about you.
