@@duckchoco9630 that's very rude to say that. it's hard for singers to get attention these days because there is so many, people don't always pay attention to them. people worked really hard for their talent, even if it's "saturated". but it's still talent nevertheless, a talent you don't seem to have. because a singer wouldn't say something like that, especially someone who put their life and soul into something that means a lot to them. it would be nice to start appreciating how many people have a talent at all in the first place.
@@sickening_love1154 The issue is that there are other widely known platforms for signing specifically such as American Idol, X Factor, etc. If I were to want to Kickstart a singing career I wouldn't want to go to a place where talent isn't specified with singing, as not only is my competition not downsized to just other singers but I now have to compete against more elaborate acts but also there's no emphasis. I'm sure people are aware of the fact that singing acts are much more popular than a witch act of knife juggling act so they created outlets for singing specifically. Was the originally person being rude? Not necessarily, they were moreso stating facts because in America's Got Talent singing acts are oversaturated in the sense that so many people do it when the show isn't singing specific so it does get annoying. When you watch American Idol you know all you're getting is singers so you wouldn't complain, that's the point of the show. It can be a bit off putting to watch America's Got Talent yet the only Talent you seem to see are singing acts even though the show has reputation for holding several different kinds of performances.
