  • The author does like to from scratch, kzhead.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

  • I Bought A Mitersaw & If I Put It On The Bench Is That Ok To Do Or Will It Cut Into The Bench?

    @rogertyler3237@rogertyler32379 ай бұрын
    • What bench do you want to put it on and what is the purpose? Are you trying to save space? None of those tools or accessories work with a miter saw. If you're worried about clearance for the arm you must measure it all. A miter saw cuts the work with a 'chop' and the work itself doesn't move during the cut. Unless you mean a miter cut on the sliding table? If you remove the table saw you can put the miter saw on it but you'd need to adapt the sliding table to work with the saw or the whole thing is just a waste of your time. If you work out the height differentials between the two saws and the height you need to hold the work (different for each saw) you can then use the frame he shows you for both functions but you'd have to change the design a bit. It's possible if you work out all of the dimensions. Usually a miter saw holds the work higher than a table saw unless the table saw is on a special platform to lower it and in that case the table saw's work table height is usually the height of your own workbench. What people do is first come up with a "standard bench" they want to work with and then make stands for each saw so that the work height is compatible with your standardized work bench and can therefore be used for accessories and holding the work and cut off and so forth. Also, the standard work bench height can be anywhere from about 74cm to the low 80s or whatever height you're comfortable sitting on a standard chair, work stool or working while standing. So you have your own choices to make first if you want a good design that works very well for your end goals. And a last bit of advice is that most people do not like sitting while operating the powerful machines like this. They work very fast and control is more important than getting comfortable in a seated position. People in woodworking usually only sit down if they're working with small pieces and doing low energy sanding or fine chisel work. With any other work by hand you need to use your whole body to control the machines or the work if not both at the same time. The only thing I do at desk height of 75 cm is assembly or what is sometimes called glue-up.
