Can you guys do a video where you build a bugout bag with only 150 bucks and try to survive for 3 days
Super awesome video. I will say that they're a little egotistical claiming he's like the new Jackie Chan. I think they're missing the point that he didn't just do awesome stunts, but that he has an amazing sense of humour and is an all around charismatic guy. Not to mention that Jackie is a master of far more martial arts than Iko. Not to dismiss his talent, I couldn't do that. But that line did rub me the wrong way. Lol
Where is Macaulay Culkin?
If telling the voice in my head counts... then yes lol
What makes Iko different from Tom Cruise and Keanu Reeves is Iko can actually fight off-screen.
Don't quote me but I believe keanu reeves does judo which is why you see him do so many throws
WOW I AGREE
@@ljc4835 he meant that Iko is a real athlete, with real championship and all.
@@ljc4835 IIRC, Iko was a coach for Indonesia's national martial arts team for international competitions. He's not just an athlete, he's a professional coach.
You can just tell from his confidence that he can hustle in the streets
Those two are real masters. You can tell on how humble they are and how they always let the other guy to talk first
Iko is more likely the new generation of jet li since jackie chan is more focused on action-comedy
Xoro Blankz I’m pretty sure iko is going to be in a comedy movie called Stuber, would love to see how a comedy movie with iko would be like
@@heejoonshin4223 that would be interesting
master shifu Btw the movie came out, it was pretty fun Iko only showed up twice but they did not ruin his fight scenes thankfully
Politics u mean?
Jackie had always been about comedy.. I watched his old Hong Kong movies.. Drunken Master, Snake in Eagle Shadow etc, they all have comic elements.. It was just Jackie's style..
Wasn't expecting to see so much love for Uwais, really pleased to see him getting the credit he deserves. Also liked that they explained how movie fights are nowhere near a proper representation of a real fight, in terms of how everything is jazzed up to make it "look" better, that's a tid-bit you don't hear too often.
I am so incredibly jealous of you guys. I've been a huge fan of Iko since The Raid and I've been following him ever since. I'd love to meet him. I'd especially love to have him teach me to be even a millionth of the badass he is. You guys have been living my dream since the start of this channel, but especially now.
IceDragon978 They were both incredible to work with.
It looked that way to me.
watch this how silat work on street kzhead.info/sun/abyEYLuibpmkpoU/bejne.html
Both The Raid movies are easily the one best movies I have ever seen
U visit Jakarta, and i will show you where Iko grew up, young iko's home, the padepokan where he been trained, etc..
Two kids at my school faked an entire fight at school during lunch. The whole thing was choreographed and looked awesome but everyone (including the teachers) thought it was real. To this day I consider them to be absolute legends.
Mystical Orbit did they get called or smth?
now they are the teacher?
Yeah and teacher at my school beheaded someone
Anyone record it that sounds amazing lol
It's true, I was the lunch
Big up Iko and Sam. I have a ton of respect for the work these two do.
They explained things so much better than I would of expected. Usually these kinds of things are just famous faces rambling or promoting their movie but these guys did a great job.
Whoah Iko!!! That's quite a score, good job team.
I love the fact that they kept going through the movements over and over perfecting the details with you guys instead of just saying oh yeah you guys got it on the second try
The magic of cinematic fight choreography is the combination of practice, discipline, timing, and camera work. I'm glad you got people who knew what they were doing and I enjoyed this video a lot. Imagine using everything you learned here and combine that with prosthetics and the fake blood from way back. That'd be hella awesome.
Dude ikos english has inproved so much haha i love the guy
Alex M I agree with you he event throw a joke when he said “to fight or to run” I am so please because it shown his personality event more now.
I'm so proud of him when he throw that joke
No wonder, He work in the native speaker's country.
@Urban Student Prepper he can, try to see john wick 3 interview, yayan and cecep good in speaking too
imam ginanjar Iyo jelas mas, Kang Cecep guru Bahasa Inggris SMP 😂🤣
"we are in freaking Hollywood with real Hollywood celebrity" good job Iko, you are Officialy Celebrity in there ..
So happy about this episode! Iko is ridiculously good at what he does.
He's so fast!
Pencak Silat = looks like dancing, but deadly!
Exactly right
Indeed. It is exactly a beautiful killer.
You true
pencak means dancing accually
artiny
I love the rhythm of all their fight scenes, they're brilliant!
the movie sponsor shows just how much this channel has grown, great job
omg iko uwais😍
The camera angles made it look so much like a real movie
Iko!! That kill with the broken car window...one of my favorite kills ever!
'' Iko is new generation of Jackie Chen "
Nami Namaewa and maggie said that. Cant go wrong
But less smile fight scene.
More like Jet Li
Lebay
Aih Aya rujak tomat
Sam: “Slow first” Brian: “okay!” *literally swings as hard as he can*
That was the most EPIC THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! Brian was getting so intense! Absolutely amazing!
So glad you dug it!!!’
This was AMAZING!! Working with those guys, watching you two fight each other in beautiful fight choreography, and BRIAN'S FREAKIN FLIP! I mean he just went for it and it was AWESOME! I'm new and I've been binge watching all your guys' stuff, and, for some reason, I love watching you guys fight each other? You guys are hilarious, keep being awesome!
Accidently came across this video and just loved it. Thanks for great content guys! Big appreciation for the great martial art!
Iko uwais english skills improved a lot😁
ahahahahaha true
He has to... In fact, it's arguably better for him to use English for his daily language since, he's a Hollywood action-star now.
Agree with u
Props to his partner for knowing when to aid in answering questions without interjecting, over all contributing to the good communication
And also his accent is on point
...Wow, the end result is actually _really good!_ Great work guys!
Thanks!!
Man, Iko is an amazing Artist! I think he´s the future!
The future is now and bright... With Iko
Iko's English is getting better and better. So proud of him.

Iko uwais, jullie estella(hammer girl) and joe taslim. "THE NIGHT COMES FOR US"
I seriously love that you guys always take the tame to personally answer so many comments. I know no other KZheadrs of your caliber that do that.
I love what you guys do. You helped me get through a really bad breakup by making me laugh and smile and learn. I’d love to buy you guys a drink sometime.
Glad to hear your survived your ordeal! And glad we could help!
Superb. You guys had so much fun doing that and i had so much fun watching you guys. 🤗
Great video, love you all. You gys are hilarious. Keep em coming. Bang Iko, sukses selalu.
As part of my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting I had to take a stage combat course. Watching this I am reminded of my course and the fun that I had there. Stage combat is so much fun.
Johnathan Koller It was a blast!

New favorite episode! Love fight choreography (watching and planning/being a part of).
Oh, this is by far my favorite episode... Not even to 900 views yet and I can tell people are going to want more.
I'm proud of you Iko Uwais... you make indonesia more famous in the world

Awesome!!!!
From making homemade gas masks, now learning choreography WHILE being sponsored by movie. who knew two men could entertain with stupidity? amazing! keep up the good work!
Why is it so easy for me to see Brian's true last words being "you're a piece of work, Murphy."
The power of pencak silat.... Thanks, love from indonesia...
Boing... That was sick you guys! Gotta see Mile 22
the guys behind Merantau (a hidden gem of action movie), the Raid 1 & 2 ? gosh Mile 22 looks full of promises
Mile 22's Storyline is boring and much intense to make nonsense in ending story.
Headshoot too, there is iko
this is very nice video, i'm never get hooked by youtube video like i used to watch very high quality show. i love The Modern Rogue!
Great video dude! I really enjoyed this video! Well done!
Imagine if action heroes actually say things like that when they take their subdued opponent's weapon: "Hey, free knife!" Also, the end result felt so real and Brian flipping over reminded me of that Scam School episode where he learned wrestling and how to fall properly.
Nice video guys! Awesome to see that the channel is growing pretty quickly!
Iko uwais is my idol. I'm gonna definitely start to pencak silat. Thanks to him. You are amazing keep going.💙💜
Great work guys.. the final cut feels like a real action movie 👍👍
thanks!
I have been plesently surprised by your guests recently. Keep up the insanity boys!
I can already see you guys choreographing a bar fight ending with one of you getting punched in the stomach so hard you spit up a card that was randomly selected by another person earlier.
Anyone got this in your recommendations? Worth it bro
nice. Welcome aboard.
I really enjoy see Iko’s fights !
omg iko ... damn man, what a show and the final result is LIT
Can't wait for the outtakes!
KosmicGR Heh. Unfortunately, there aren’t many. We only had an hour to film, so you’re looking at most of it.
Wow I accidentally saw this video and I stayed till the end. Great content!
That's owesome..can't wait for the movie
"You want me to teach you how to choreography or run?" Hahahahaha
When i first saw iko uwais,.. (i forget the movie title) i thought he's from Philipine or Thailand 😄 he is so talented actor n my prayers will always be with you. Pls take good care of yourself #IkoUwais #IndonesianActor much love from Malaysia 💪❤❤❤👍
I'm Indonesian n I so proud with the guy (Iko).. he brought our traditional martial arts to the world.. keep moving bro :)
It's great seeing this kind of in depth analysis of fight choreography, because you can see the difference in tempo in some fight scenes. like this is a very fast 1234, but then you watch some fights (which I won't name to be kind) where it's a very obvious 1...2...3...4, almost like every action is a pose they have to get into rather than a smooth cause and effect. Great editing on the final fight sequence too!
Good points!
Yes! This is awesome! You always see films - usually KZhead fan films or film festival shorts, but sometimes even big-budget Hollywood stuff - using camera tricks to cover up for bad fight coreography. It sucks to see fast, blurry, edit-heavy action scenes because they can't show the action and reaction in the same shot.
What really makes me kinda angry is when you find out that some movies actually had well choreographed and well acted fight sequences which weren't deemed fast enough by producers or directors so they cut it all up in a jumbled mess for some god forsaken reason.
Bloody proud as Indonesian seeing Iko geetinga a gig in Hollywood and being our Ambassador for our old heritage martial art, SILAT.
Yeahh
You guys rock itu finally😊👌👍👍👍 awesome guys

Either my calendar is plotting to kill me or this is a gift from the giant floating spaghetti monster itself!!!
hello i'm from indonesia thanks for the video, a little story. silat much of its history in the colonial era in Indonesia, we lived under pressure at the time, to fight the invaders, many silat styles but basically taught humility, training in martial arts used to be more difficult, more extreme when practicing, using original weapons, beating and kicking seriously. if exposed is a risk ", my parents practiced every day legs and hands beaten with bamboo sticks, and kicked us not using samsak but wood or bamboo trees, and when warming up push-ups, hands were clenched on rocks, I also learned Silat and shorinji kempo from Japan, I pray that we all learn to live from humility, it will produce positive energy for us, greetings from Indonesia, the spirit continues.💪👍

Awesome Iko, good Job brother ☺👍
When my sister was in high school, she was once using public bus with her friends, all girls. One of her friends was pencak silat athlete, though regional level not national level. And there was a guy tried to grab backpack of my sister. And that girl was just, out of reflex punched him and kicked him and that guy quickly just threw himself out ot the bus. Good thing that the bus wasn't moving fast or he could have died. My sister's friend is just like an ordinary school girl. But sometimes some people, you just don't know the extend of damage they can inflict on you. Just because they look docile and friendly, it doesn't necessarily means that they're not deathly when push comes to shove.
So cool and interesting 👍
"Real holywood celebrity" he said. Awesome.
