  • What does this trailer do? It piques one's curiosity. It establishes an intriguing premise. It does not give away the entire plot including twist endings. It makes people want to see the full movie.

    • I don't know, there has been lots of problems with the movie, people working on the film leaving, a budget that's gotten out of hand and the person making the movie has never made a movie with so much special effects vfx etc. The computer generated parts from what I've seen in recent trailers should look better imo

  • It's curious but I see 3 clear references to The Matrix, Neo in the first movie coming out of the window at the top of a building, Neo in the fourth movie walking towards the void in a building with a photograph similar to the sunset and finally the clicking of fingers that Trinity uses at the end of the fourth movie to change the Matrix.

    • I have a feeling people are going to hype this up so much, considering he's spent years trying to get it made, and it will end up being a huge disappointment. Coppola is a truly great director but I feel he should really stick to more grounded stuff, not sci fi it's just not his fortay. This is going to try hard and really say something, its gonna try and be really clever like Inception and films like that but will just end up being rather pretentious. Hope I'm Dead Wrong though

  • I'll definitely catch it in theaters. Coppola deserves a chance from the US audience after all he's given us and the fact that he self financed this film, his magnum opus. Will it be awful? Maybe. The cinematography doesn't scream "this movie cost $200 million!" The coloring and lighting is strange.. like if Sofia Coppola was asked to direct a superhero movie. I honestly just really hope it's "good" enough so that Coppola won't be ruined.

    @kendolandon@kendolandon13 күн бұрын
    • Birds of a feather flock together they're all the same these major studios or Hollywood movies and actors aren't the same types of people . Your favorite celebrity mostly likely got child porn stored somewhere are is connected to someone that does. ( Which is nothing new for example Sharon Tate was involved in a lot of porn in which many have empathy for because she was killed by the so called " Manson family" yet her husband was a pedophile. The harsh truth is most of the people society admires are the same types society claims to condemn and I say claim to because when you're liked anything can be overlooked and swept under the rug ; society is so against pedophiles yet we've all been to middle school and high school and known girls that'll date men who would pick them up in their cars and nobody would bat an eye or dudes that'll be in college picking a freshman or sophomore in highschool it's just another lie in society we keep up so we don't have to face how messed up this society is because society never wants to take accountability. Just like we keep up the facade on how looks or genetics don't matter and the over importance on how much one has control over their life or how pedophiles and rapist get " dealt" with in prison yet 85 percent of sex traffickers are gang members who also sex traffic minors who also rape rival gangs girls and force women and girls into prostitution which also runs the prisons in which also homosexual rape is basically so much a norm in there that the " don't drop the soap " joke has been overused nonetheless taken that into account rapist and pedophiles supposedly are " dealt with " in prison which isn't the case these are just lies society tells itself because people will probably go mad if the truth of the matter was uncovered

    • Yeah I hate how everything has played out for Coppola. Shows it to the studio heads and all they can say is that it has no commercial appeal. What? The director of The Godfather pouring 100 million of his own cash into his final film? That's not commercial appeal? It doesn't matter what the film is. THAT ALONE should sell it if you have any common sense about how to run a promotional campaign. Just look at the comments on here. People want to watch the movie. Word of mouth is still a thing. I didn't go see Top Gun Maverick until I heard how great it was after a couple weeks. Then when I saw it, I realized it was amazing in theaters.

    • @WC-jd8rn I 100% agree with you but the paid reviewers from big publication will give it negative reviews because they all are on the payroll of big studios, that's how they make some great movies not work at release, hence no profits no further movies from them independents
