    • I am heartbroken every day when I cannot get a dog. I live in a condominium so I check for older dogs like the Boxer Rescue in Austin and Houston. They are upfront they are low energy dogs because they are old and have heartworms. Do you know what the life expectancy of a dog with heartworms is and do they have to stay on medication for the rest of their life?

  • Thank goodness you rescued them in time, with that virus they would never had made it. So cruel how some one just dumped these 2 puppies, just so inhumane. Bless your hearts for rescuing and getting the help they needed so they could find homes and live like puppies should live. I already donated this month to you, I promise I will donate each month to you, I love the work you do and your rescue is a trustworthy rescue.
