  • thank you for these simple steps. is it possible to use bana/napier grass nstead of corn?

    @gatsheniboergoatstud8506@gatsheniboergoatstud85063 жыл бұрын
    • The protein content of Napier grass is too low (less than 2%). Maize has about 10% protein and Rhodes grass has about 11% protein. Substituting maize with napier (elephant grass) for fodder will deny your goats the required protein in their diet. Fodder made with maize + chroris guyana for dry matter gives them a more complete formulation.

  • Hello Sir, what is the net weight of the corn silage after compressing it to 200 liter plastic drum? Is it cheaper to do a bunker silage or using plastig bag silage which cost 85 per bag? I am looking foward to your advice as we will harvest corn for silage in May 2021. Thank you.
