Heya, finally after 3 long hours of waiting for it to upload it's here, Tier 3 Units from the mod and some cool GDI Faction Required Units from the Mutant Hovel.
I feel like editing out the boring parts i.e setting up my base, making an army, seeing a dude who's played a game since he was around 4 struggle in the game and whatnot would be better for both watching and me not having to wait to upload but lemme know if I should edit the recordings or not.
Also I'm done recording the rest of the GDI Campaign and I've started recording the Nod Campaign and I'm at least 1/3rd done on that but now as I'm typing this my OBS decided to fuck up again so it's basically just recording the audio and it's just a black screen but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get it to work again. Wow, it's super impressive how well they got the new content to visually blend with Vanilla. A decade later and this game still looks pretty damn good!
I love rts. I wish this type of gameplay was done for the warhammer 40k franchise. The rts style on those always had population cap and squad based units involved when in reality no pop cap would translate better to the warhammer 40k uuniverse. Imagine the imperial guard orks and nids with this type of rts style. the battles would be huge!
@Jonathan Jacquet Already had my taste of that and it was glorious. However the engine sadly could not keep up with everything going on in the screen resulting in performance issues. And sadly no matter how much I play it with rose tinted glasses the art style and graphics has started to show its age. I would not mind having dawn of war with the CnC Tiberium war graphics though.
@@covenant05 also the AI is horribly imbalance, I love the mod so much but fuck me it so imba I cant enjoy it much.
@@lovelost28 yeah true that its an awesome effort by the modders, but there's so much rts engines right now that modders can mod 40k into, the weffort is going to be insane though but these guys are passionate enough 😁
I don’t think the C&C style would be ideal for a Warhammer 40k strategy game because it not enough grand-scale. The Supreme Commander would be much better at this.
that would be an epic game. definitely a dream come true to see a Warhammer 40k RTS like that;)
I did this one by spamming the walker airdrop, mammoths and rigs, then mammoth walker, kodiaks and captured avatars. After amassing a lot of heroic vet kodiaks, I sent them in to flatten all the defenses and captured the structures. Finally, the fun part: the Nod commando from this mod can capture the temple with her ability, so I won the mission without ever firing the ion cannon.
The longer build times with this Mod makes as much sense as a second belly button.
i always like the intro messages by the nod soldiers "GDI here in Sarajevo? DESTROY THEM!"
I really wish that they would remake 4 and see the Scrin invasion force comes to play. Cause they left us high and dry with the C&C 3 ending

Some games are not created to be 3D animated I feel like... or the Art style is wrong here... Red Alert 2 to this day plays and looks superb in HD in 2D, while this is hard to look at

Well, that looks... horrible. Complete disaster. Iconic mission, epidemy of hardcore (I believe this is the hardest mission in the GDI campaign) turned into a joke. I've just watched 1.09 Hard playthrough of it to be sure - the Advanced version is easy as if it is a tutorial mission. It is also is extremely slown down. I am very, very disappointed that somebody thinks that is how Westwood would want this mission to be designed.
The mission is an unfair mess. Stealth Tanks and Avatars but no Sonic Cannons. I am glad the mod makes it easier cause it is a mess in original mode.
this mission was a garbage unbalanced mess like most of the game when they enemy can just mass 10 units in a second PLEASE. Also lol bringing up westwood when most of them where gone at this point
