  • I love how genuinely supportive and respectable Jimmy is towards them. He was the same with Priyanka when she was starting off in the west. People make fun of him being laughing too much but I've noticed this in RM's behaviour here and also Priyanka's behaviour when she was new that Jimmy really does make them feel comfortable and "accepted".   • Jungkook's english has gotten so good. It may seem like a small thing, but it really isn't. Learning another language and using it to express your thoughts is never a small thing. He's been saying how much he wanted to learn and how hard he's been studying and I'm just unbelievably proud of him.

  • I think one of the main reasons why I keep gravitating back to this interview is how real and genuine it feels. The lack of live audience really strips it down to just them talking like real people about their lives and their music. A perfect mix of humour, hyperness, and calmness. Really great to listen to

    • Yes, Jimmy Fallon is the best interviewer of BTS, he is never condescending or rude, or asking dumb questions showing they haven't done their homework about K-Pop or BTS. It is embarrassing seeing some US morning news shows asked the stupidest questions. They might as well say "oh, you cute little foreigners do you like Chinese food". In the West they lump ALL Asians together, and they think we all know each other. I have been interrupted when eating a meal at a restaurant by some old white couple squeal about how they recently visited an Asian country and "loved the people and the food" and asked if I knew whomever they met, like considering there are over 2 billion Asians I'm supposed to know all of them? Also, I was born and raised in the USA but they assume I just got off the "boat" yesterday. I was surprised to see US national news programs act as stupid as these US tourists.

  • Jungkook wasn’t playing when he said he wanted to learn more English. As someone who teaches English as a second language I’m so proud. To think so many people are learning Korean because of him and just BTS in general. I love language. To have so many people exchange words and ideas with each other in languages that are not their own, and wanting to do the same back always gets me 😭

It might seem like such a small thing, but when you take a look at their previous interviews with English speaking hosts they almost always immediately look to Namjoon for a translation instead of the member whos speaking in Korean. So this really warmed my heart because it just showed that Jimmy respects each and every member, and genuinely cares about what they have to say equally.

  • As somebody who doesn’t know them… It could be easy to look at their relationship and be like “aw that’s so nice that they are so close“ but once you really get deep into it, you realize that they’re not just friends, they are brothers. Through all the good times the bad times the lukewarm times they’ve had each other to lean on. They know things about each other that nobody else on THIS PLANET will ever know.   • this is the thing about jimmy i love. he makes his guests so comfortable and so friendly with them, but knows his limits, he isnt too clingy or too distant. i love how he was so patient with them due to the language barrier. and we cant forget jungkook's english...
