The Hodor moment was the best. All the other ones were unexpected and swift. But Hodor built over time and but still hit you like a ton of bricks.

Even though shows ending was terrible, they did a fantastic job with the casting. Everyone was absolutely perfect for their role
they absolutelly massacred what Euron Grejoy was supposed to be as a character, visually and in all other ways. The actor wasnt bad but the character sucked balls and was donwgraded from the books

You appreciate how good an actress Lena Headey is when you see how goofy and delightful she is in real life. I literally started to tear up when I saw the Stannis's greyscale daughter being all sweet, knowing what happened to her. Such a sweet kid with every reason to be mad at the world.

GOT was timeless and it is timeless. No matter how it ended but it is an incredible show.
season 8 was really disappointing but yes overall the whole show was priceless.. Season 1, 3, 4, 6 all wonderful. No matter how it ended it was indeed a wonderful show. (house of dragons can never come upto its level)

What an anticlimax the final episode was, after the crazy build-up that made up the whole series. Weiss & Bennioff you guys need to grow a pair. On a side note, hats off to the Actors & Special Effects crew, you guys did an amazing job.
@John Smith bran did not deserve the throne and the whole season was just rushed, nothing was well thought out in s8. Unsullied wouldve executed jon not imprison him for a month. Daenerys dies and not even 3 minutes after its all forgotten. Such a shame this last season was and it was really just a terrible ending compared to what it could have been had they not rushed it
@John Smith Each to their own man. I had high hopes for the final episode, I'm sure we all did. The writers of GOT based their story on a novel series, a series of which is yet to be completed. Over the years of watching GOT from Ssn1, the Series had been gaining momentum. It had us all on the edge of our seats, excited, captivated & glued to our screens. Many a time the plot took a turn but for the better & the momentum the series was building, continued to grow, along with our excitement for the release of each new episode. Then just when we thought we had grasped the final plot & ending to an Epic Series with Ep5 of Ssn 8... Out comes the final Episode with Bran as King. WTF It's as if Weiss & Benioff had a sudden case if Writer's Block. As l said, each to their own but for me the ending was not up to scratch. I feel sorry for the cast, I'm sure they were also looking forward to a greater ending, to end the series.

I started watching the series about nine months ago and have rewatched it two more times. The character's development and depth, charisma and relationships had me laughing and crying! I'm so glad I got to watch continuously. I don't think I could have waited eight years for a finale!

I just finished this entire series in 1 week. I was so hooked on it, obsessed with finding out what happens next. I didn’t know if I’d enjoy the show but it really is a masterpiece. Nearly broke my heart and made me use a couple swear words lol but it’s so well written.

I remember when the GOT trailer was first released in HBO lol I was intrigued but being a youngling back then I didn't watch it due to the violence & adult contents. Finally I've watched the show over this week & finished it today! I'd say we're lucky that we didn't have to wait years for the next season/episode. It was a seamless watching experience. 😸

Adam I had only heard ppl online talk about it and didn't care to be involved with them, irl maybe 2 ppl had mentioned it around me so why would that be sooo special to watch it during then? Before two weeks I started the show and now I finished season 8. It was an amazing experience! Diving into a whole new world with all these special characters, landscapes and castles gave me goosebumps. They created a masterpiece. Let's appreciate the effort behind the scenery, regardless of the plot.

This made me forget the disastrous ending and brought me back to the glory days of the epic show.
i well forever rewatch the complete series without watching the ending
I just recently watched the entire series. I cannot imagine the enormity of creating something with so many different types of characters, special effects, sound, costumes, the weather, and have it turn out so captivating. This enormously talented cast & crew gave us hours upon hours of exellent entertainment. I had heard all the hype about the ending and was expecting to be left just devastated but for me everything went point on to where these characters had been building up to for the entire final Season. I loved it and thanks to the many many people who gave us a decade of their life to bring this into millions of people's home.

I started to watch GOT when I was 14 years old I think. It was clearly not for my age but I couldn’t help but to love this show. It was outrageous, the story was so deep, it took my breath out many times, I cried, I screamed, I felt fear for my favorite characters, happiness when Joffrey died 😌 I used to watch the show in live from France every Sunday and I would then call my best friend to talk about the episode and our theories for 3 hours ahah. Game of thrones is one of those things that kept my spirit alive. I’m depressed and suicidal since I remember, but I find joy in arts. Watching Game of thrones was a relief because I had something to hold onto for years. I loved that show, I loved the cast and I hated the end. But at the end of the day I know it’s the greatest show I ever had to watch and I’m glad I lived at the same time. Thank you so much to the actors and everyone involved. You made life a little bit funnier for me Forever my favorite show

Robb is one of my favorite characters, but for me it was Jorah. The way they shot it, the acting, their entire story together, the characters in general... I fucking sobbed, and I didn't even do that with Robb (or Oberyn, my other favorite).

These actors go above and beyond for their roles and it really shows in every episode they are in. kinda teary eye seeing them again after all these years... HOT D made me go back to these things why I love the show so much. I eish the new show would give me the same feeling I hade with GOT. The north remembers....

As an actor, I can see this cast was close and had a lot of fun even though they will admit these shooting days were often harsh. Did a 22 show run in New York about 15 years ago much like this one about King Arthur and we pretty much became a family as a cast. You can see that here.

For the first time in my life I am seeing entertainment with a wide range of human intellect including children, adults, religion, death, politics, rich, poor and not created to entertain one age group, but, for an advanced or opened mind or intellect. Found this on a deep dive... I will re-watch the entirety of this show out of sheer admiration & respect for how much the cast (and all of the crew, I don't know all of the departments) threw themselves into their performances. Even if you watch this w/no sound, you can simply see how much they loved who they portrayed & how much they all loved each other (except for maybe Lena Headey and Jerome Flynn 😬).

@@iiiiiiii2625 in acting? yeah. Its all about confidence and the guys on set like regisseurs and background crew who help you. Actors in theater are amazing for example. Even in small unknown ones. But Thanks to GoT and HBO those actors got exposure. And especially for the main characters this means fame, fortune and career upstart. I mean look at emilia: she know lives in London in the most expensive place and also has a pretty nice house in the US.
They didn't know GOT would end up being what it did, young first time actors are CHEAP....
