I love Michael Wilding, and this is a charming film. Thanks for posting. (BTW - the subtitles are a bit off: e.g. “a seer” for “Boadicea”, “Halo” for “Harrow”, etc. - quite distracting)
Dobra rozrywka na deszczowy dzień 😂
Que interessante ! Lindas imagens coloridas ! Obrigado ao canal ! 😅
The film is beatiful
Fabulous movie, just my taste, thank you! I want to go back and live in that Era. Anybody else thinking, why don't they just get married already? 😅 She looks exactly like my beautiful mother, same blue eyes, like mine. I'm Irish with a dash of English and French. 🎉
Enjoyed this very much. Couple of in jokes at the expense of our two leads and you know you're in the land of escapist nonsense. At 11mins, "She looks a bit like Anna Neagle". And at 45mins, "A member of the Michael Wilding fan club". PS, Anna Neagle was 44 at the time of shooting.

EXQUISITA PELICULA MUSICAL
All the style screamed, " abundant restraint ".
Love the fuschia sheer duster, it would look nice with a pair of jeans!❤
I’ll bet all those Lancashire coal miners would love to live in Mayfair…if they could afford to. Look how clean and rich it looks! 1949
Built with coal money!
Some things never xhange
I'm happy to say my family escaped that life. They lived by the sea coast northwestern Ireland.

"Sweeney Todd....wasn't a bad barber!"
They were saying fellow, not fella!
Very similar to play "Gowns by Roberta" and the musical "Roberta."

The name of the school is HARROW, not Halo!

😂😂😂😂😂
Such a shame it’s so out of focus.
Romanic comedy, in defense of propriety. How much of civility has been lost since 1949 ?
Moda w tamtych czasach była,,okropna,,ale tkaniny prześliczne 😅
Por favor legendas em. portugues.

The English peter graves not the american one!
Ho resistito fino all'ultimo per vedere abito da sposa, belli i vestiti, attrice molto bella, ma un po' grassa.... Però bella.
Peter Graves, brother of James Arness ("Matt Dillon" of "Gunsmoke" and the evil creature from space in the 1950s movie "The Thing...From Another World" based on the short story "Who Goes There?" 1951)
Not the same Peter Graves!
@@daviddixon1011 Try looking things up before you attempt a snark. Peter Graves was the brother of James Arness. Now run along.
@@onemercilessming1342 Try running along yourself, sweetie: THIS Peter Graves is an Englishman, and no relation whatsoever to the Peter Graves who was James Arness' brother, who played the Thing. Snarky clown!
Una tonta comedia.
