Many thanks about your lesson, Oli. This's my practice: My family has 6 members: my grandparents, my parents, my aunt and me. I don't see my family often because I live in a different city for study, but I speak to them regularly by phone. We all get together once a month, exactly when I have much freetime like weekend or holiday, which is always very noisy but lots of fun.
Nice answer! Here are three corrections for you: 1. I live in a different city for *university/college*... 2. We all get together once a month, *whenever* I have... 3. 'Free time' is two words. Thanks for sharing!
👌
Nice, clear, straight to point, interesting progression. Congratulations.

Hello brother, I am from India.
Hi Oli. Your sessions are quite clear and interesting. You are a very good Teacher. You know what exactly a person need in a training.
Thank you for the lesson. Here are my practice. I have big family. There are 8 people in my family. I am the middle child as I have 2 elder sister and 2 younger brothers. My Grandma and my parents ofcouse. I am very close to my family although we live in different city. I go back to my hometown once or twice a year but I talk to them on skype every so often. I cook traditional cuisine for my them whenever I am back to my hometown. My family said they love my cooking except my younger brother he always tease me and said "please don't open a restaurent". We share our experience and opinions within family and keep look out for one another. I am so glad to have this family.
Thanks for sharing! Here are a few suggestions for you: 1) 'I have a big family,' not, 'I have big family'. 2) '...2 elder sisters,' not, 'sister'. 3) '...we live in different cities,' not, 'city'. Hope this is useful for you!
Hello sir your teaching style is awesome and an effective too.
Your pronounciation is very clearly , I think you could be the best teacher for us, . It is Quates, You learn there where is an experience teacher .

Thank you very much for the lesson!
Hello Mr Oli really i like all your lessones and your explaining is very nice . thanks alot.
Thanks for your lesson. I come from a immediate family including my parents, two older sister and me. I'm the youngest in the family. I have a lot of cousin, but they live in Quang Nam province where is so far from my house, so we don't see together often. My mom is a household women who always take care of every member in the family. Also, my Dad quite love playing chess with his friends, besides he often goes jogging around the park near my house in his freetime. And two older sister haven't still married. Sometimes, my family go hang out or watch TV together. Particularly in the Christmas this year, my family went to Vung Tau beach which we enjoy all of the time. I really hope that my parents are always healthy and happy, because it is the most important goal in my life. Thank you for your help again, I wish you will always be happy and lucky in life.
Hi Giàu, thanks for sharing your response! Here are some corrections for you: 1) '...come from an immediate family,' not, 'a'. 2) 'I have a lot of cousins,' not, 'cousin'. 3) '...province which is so far from my house,' not, 'where'. Hope this is useful for you!
لو كتبت بتشوفه ولا اتعب نفسي على الفاضي ؟
I think one is not correct . It should be as-a household woman. Who takes care.. Is it correct?
Hello, Oli! Your videos are very useful, I love them. Here is my practice: my immediate family is quite small. There are six people, my two older sisters, me, my youngest brother and my parents. In my extended family there are a lot of people because my four grandparents had a lot of sons and daughters. I'm very close of my family, every weekend I stay with them. That's all.
Hi Josi. Thanks for watching and sharing your excellent response. We're so glad you enjoy the lessons. Here are some corrections for your response: 1) 'There are six people: my two older sisters...' not, 'There are six people, my two older sisters...' 2) It might be more effective to say, '...grandparents had a lot of children,' instead of, 'sons and daughters.' 3) 'I'm very close to my family,' not, 'of.' Hope this helps you!
Hello. Thank you very much for this lesson. This is my practice: I come from a big family. I’m the middle child and I have one older brother, one sister and one younger brother. There's a four-year-old gap between my siblings. I don’t have children, but I have four nieces! I don’t see my family often because I live in another city where is quite far from my home. I try to spend as much time as possible making a video call with my parents every weekend. At the end of each month, I usually come back home, help my parents to cook some special dishes and we have lots of fun together.
Hi Minnie, thanks for sharing your answer. Here are some suggestions: 1) 'There's a four-year gap,' not, 'four-year-old gap'. 2) '...another city which is quite far...' not, 'where'. 3) It's not necessary to use 'to' in: '...help my parents to cook some special dishes'. Hope this helps you!
Excellent !!!Thank you for sharing .
Thanks a lot Mr . Oli for your advice.

Hello! Thank you very much for your lesson. This is my practice: There are 5 people in my family: my grandmother, my parents, my brother, which is two years older than me and myself. I'm very close to my family. Although I and my brother have to go to school in another city, not in my hometown, but we try to spend as much time as possible with the family. We have lunch together every weekend. At that lunch, I usually help my mother to cook some Vietnamese traditional foods. By the way, I play badminton with my brother twice a week, he's funny and joke me at all time. I love my family very much.
Nice answer! Three corrections for you: 1) '...my brother, who is...' not '...brother, which...' 2) '...my brother and I' not '...I and my brother.' 3) You can't use 'although' and 'but' in the same sentence. You should remove one of them. Hope this makes sense!
Thanks very much
Hihi
Excuse me! May I ask you a question. His voice is pure british sound, isn't it? Sometimes I am quite confused with words such as: stand, clamp, bank, ... with ae sound. This is not very understanable when someone asks me such questions. Could you give me the link to evidence this. Hope to hear your answer!
I wonder why " I and my brother" is not correct. Can you explain to me, please!

Thank you so much for this useful lesson. And now, I want to introduce my family with you! My immediate family is quite small. There are four people: My father, my two brothers and me. My two brothers older than me, so I am the youngest people in my family. Because my father is one of seven children, so I have a lot of cousins, who is kind of my brothers and sisters. I don't see my family often because we don't live together. My family lives in Bình Định province but I live in Hồ Chí Minh city for my work, I miss them so much. Although I can't meet them everyday, but I speak with them regularly by Zalo. And we all get together once or twice a year when I have holiday, especially Tet holiday. When I come home and gather with my family and relatives, it always noisy but lots of fun! That's all. Thank you for reading!
Good answer! Here are three corrections for you: 1. My two brothers *are* older than me... 2. Don't use 'because...so...' in the same sentence. Choose one or the other. 3. ...I have a lot of cousins, who *are* kind of my brothers and sisters. Thanks for sharing your answer with us!

Hi Mr oli, thank you so much about your lesson
thanks very much but Oxford Online Engish need to make additional clip about school, the neighborhood , the festival and the best friend.@^_^@
Good suggestions! We'll look into them and see what we can do.
My immediate family is quite small because there are only 4 people in my family: my dad, my mom, my brother and me. My dad is one of six children so, I have a quite big extended family. I have a lot of cousins, who are kind of like my brothers and sisters. We usually see each other once a year especially in occasion like Chinese New Year which is always noisy but lots of fun.
Oli Thank you very much just sharing this kind of video.
This is very helpful. so thanks.
Thanks
I come from a small family: I just have one sister, who’s ten years younger than me. I’m the oldest in the family. My sister has three children, so I have two nephews and the niece. They live in Russia so I don’t see them often, although we talk on Skype every so often.
Another nice answer! Here is one tip: '...two nephews and a niece,' not, 'the'. Hope this is useful for you!
Hi, Oli. Thanks for your reply. I don't understand how to use articles in English. Best. Vitaliy.

Thanks for watching and writing your answer, Jeevan, Here are some corrections: 1) '...five members,' not, '...five member'. 2) '...immediate family: my father, mother, sister, brother, and myself,' not, '...immediate family.Father ,mother, sister, brother and myself'. 3) 'I have a good relationship with my family...we live in different countries,' not, 'I have good relation with my family...we live in different country'. Hope this helps you!
Thank u so much for your correction.
Hello Oli, First of all, thank you for your videos! They're helping me a lot. But I've noticed that don't have any videos about Prepositions... So, if you could make a video talking about them, it would help a lot !!! Such a hard subject for me and I think for another people too. Hehe
Thanks, Janubio! It's a good idea, although prepositions are hard to teach. There's often not much logic to which preposition we use, so learning to use prepositions is more about memorising a lot of information, which is not so interesting in a lesson. I'll give it some thought though and see if there's anything I can do which would be useful. In the meantime, we do have a couple of videos on 'at', 'on' and 'in': kzhead.info/sun/g6yDkbNxfJGHm6M/bejne.html (using at/on/in for place) and kzhead.info/sun/m52hntOOkKRviIE/bejne.html (using at/on/in for time).
Your lessons are very nice and useful to me.. My practice time.. There are 4members in my family.. myself and my husband and my two kids..i have a elder daughter and a younger son.. she is studying in grade 2 and my little one just turned one..i love my parents and with their support i have came across many challenges in my life.. there are many people in my extended family and i am little bit away from there..i love my kids i spend all my time with my son..he is so naughty..his naughtiness make me to feel love and warmth from him to the core .. thanks oli for your wonderful lessons
