When we mention Greece, what comes to mind? Is it Mount Olympus or the boundless Aegean Sea? Is it Plato and his spiritual world, or Archimedes and his lever moving the Earth? Is it the 2004 return of the Olympics to Athens or the far-reaching debt crisis after 2008? Regardless of how diverse people's answers may be, it's unlikely that many think of Greece's last king and queen when mentioning the country. Today, let's talk about the story of the last king and queen of Greece.
Met them once in passing.. and Prince Pavlos as he was introduced himself to me as he needed a favour. I sorted it out for them. I was on duty in the Police in London. They nodded in my direction and smiled very sweetly. Nice manners I thought.
I think this King truly loves his country.
I thought he had now passed away. I could be wrong.

This is the first time I have heard Constantine pronounced like that. Is this correct? I don't think so.
His name is not pronounced Konstantajn, but Konstantiiiin with a proper i, like in "win" and "bin".

So an adult man starts a relationship with his 13 yr old double cousin. Proposed when she was 15 and marries her at 18 is a fairy tale. I think its grooming.
He didn't start a relationship with a 13 years old, he became interested. They got engaged when she was 17, not so unusual back then, and got married when she was 18. Anyway, anyone that knows a little about them, know it is a lovestory, that only ended when Constantine died not so long ago. They had 5 children together.
No mobiles or internet in those days so he could not see or speak to her. Get your head out of the gutter.

I agree with you. It's actually incestuous as far as I'm concerned but, then, it seems that humans will do a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g to hold onto power. I had no idea that this "custom" was SO permissible. Growing up in a more "scientifically-oriented" family, I was partially aware of how genetics influence , I thought, further 'offspring" . Based on the stupidity of "prince' ha-ha, I t-h-o-u-g-h-t I understood "how genetics" work, but now I realize that intelligence just doesn't matter. In fact, the less of a thinker you are, the more predatory, self-congratulatory and accepting you are of doing whatever it takes to remain in 'your monetary" ( and perhaps, social") position. Maybe that's why philosophers have often been poor !!!😂😂😂
