This is really great, Shortie. Thank you! I really enjoy getting these little looks into the culture and traditions of faraway lands with my ASMR. For the dialect-heavy story, maybe you could do one video explaining (translating?) the various bits of dialect from the story, then read the story for another video?
My favorite thing about your asmr has always been your imaginative bedtime stories. You are such a natural at it. And this seems like a cool spin on the idea so I'm looking forward to listening!

Wow, that was so moving... most definitely, original Scottish tales, told with an original Scottish accent.. I particularly liked the second one. As you pause it, and add your own comment.. you really drew me into it.. I felt like a kid again, sitting on the floor at your feet. On the edge of suspense and the unknown.. How am I supposed to Sleep, after this? Now, I'm wondering what Witch Water is, and how a maiden can survive a 300' drop from a Rocky Cliff? You had me visualizing the whole scene, Josette! Transporting me to distant, far away lands.. awesome! Please, do more of these stories. I really enjoyed it. Maybe you should read through them once beforehand though.. 😅 Seriously, though, I truly enjoyed it. You're an amazing person. So beautiful. I could watch you read a cookbook! ❤

Well.. this certainly was a real treat. Thank you very much! To be candid with you, this video actually sparked a memory of a very vintage TV program that talked about haunted Scotland. I enjoyed it so much that the romantic tragedy tale stuck with me for these many years. I don't know if you've ever heard of it... it's the story of the Piper of Duntrune.

Also, I think this is the difference between a bedtime story and ASMR, for I wanted to stay awake for the end, thén sleep. With 'naturel' ASMR this is not possible 😂
