  • Not everyone has plenty of space to store their things even essential items! The solution may not be to ‘declutter’ things but to maximise the space and this video provides inspiration for that

  • These are great ideas for small spaces. Not everyone has a huge house so sometimes creative solutions are necessary for essentials, but some of these ideas just highlight that the owners of the items need to get rid of a lot of extra stuff.

  • I agree. Don’t get more shelves and drawers as you will just keep filling them. 9times out of 10 you forget what’s in them. It’s a better idea to get rid of stuff you don’t use or need.

  • My husband built a cabinet for our 4 hampers and placed it in our master bath. It had 4 opening doors and the rolling hampers were easy to take to the laundry. It was painted white and the insets on the doors were papered with the same wallpaper in our bath. On top of the cabinet we had a 55 gallon aquarium that was just across from the whirlpool tub. Above the aquarium, there was a pot shelf that intruded into the walk-in closet on the other side of the wall. We had a nice TV up there and often had dinner and a movie from the oversized tub.

  • Good ideas but wondered a bit about the comments regarding wicker and plastic storage boxes. Plastic boxes don't have to be used with lids at all and plenty are even transparent so it is also easy if not easier to see what is inside them cf wicker baskets 😉. Granted wicker baskets are often very pleasing to the eye!

  • Those shoe racks and clothes racks on the bedroom wall looks like you're in the department store. That's a no-go.

    • Ha Ha....some people might love the department store look....then you could pretend you were "shopping" every morning as you get dressed! Ha HA. Plus it might get you to like your own stuff more....pretty presentation is how stores get you to buy in the first place!

  • You don’t see closet like this anywhere unless it’s a department store. Rule of thumb if you haven’t used any clothing within a year they have to go. Any shelves just collect dust and all this around your bed it feels claustrophobic. And if you have a habit of collecting everything at the end of the day no matter how organized they are going to look tacky.

  • The link to the Wardrobe Side Storage is not for the one shown. It just takes you to an ordinary over--the-door shoe organizer. Where can I get the one shown in the video?
