The thing I love about Sean's 100 days videos is that he's not like a lot of other youtubers that just focus on making some impenetrable base and getting full enchanted gear on the 5th day; I like that Sean actually takes risks and just does what he wants, (it's even funnier when he gets upset at his own actions while narrating.)

U mean aligators bc when they do that their usualy in gruppes and hippos know both have to be feared one hippos have a high chanse to die if the croco grabs him thats why they kill in grupps and thats why i have planted underwater mines in our contrys hippo sanctuary

Alligators do not live on the continent of Africa, and even if they did, they would turn out the same as crocodiles in a conflict. 3. Hippos generally cannot bite an adult Nile crocodile in half with ease, but can kill one. 4. A crocodile is not large enough to grab a hippopotamus, they will bite them, but this generally does not cause deaths in healthy adult hippos, only in extreme cases where the crocodiles were unusually large (like with the well known human eater Gustav). 5. I heavily doubt you were able to acquire underwater mines, and doubt even further that you were able to set them up in a hippopotamus sanctuary without blowing yourself up or at least loosing a limb. 6. There was no reason to reply to the other person, they said in Columbia because hippos also exist in Columbia due to escaping from a zoo owned by Pablo Escobar after his death.

The "painted crustacean" is actually called a Mantis Shrimp! They're an actual creature and are actually known to break their aquarium glass and beat up fish in its aquarium. Very cool guy
They're also known for the fact that their punches can create enough heat to boil the water surrounding their claw
They punch so fast they actually create a vaccum and light. A space underwater that is actually dry for a fraction of a second
They also have very good eyesight
The fact the punch at 50mph has always been wild to me but they also have like 16 photoreceptors and can see UV light, visible and polarised light. they are the only animals known to detect circularly polarised light, which is when the wave component of light rotates in a circular motion. They also can perceive depth with one eye and move each eye independently. insanely amazing creatures. definitely should research them.

For me, understanding everything about a mod, what it does, how to use everything it adds, starts to make it feel less of a game and more of just a grind to be max efficiency. Learning how it works on your own is way more enjoyable, more rewarding too. Besides, people play games to kill time (while having fun of course, hopefully) so it really adds plenty more to do rather than just using a guide to solve every problem.

Sean not repairing the 20 ATK axe (farmhouse chest axe) hurts so bad- For reference, a netherite axe, the strongest weapon in the (vanilla) game, has 10 ATK-

This was really fun to watch as a new viewer. I still have the hullbreaker beeping in my head for some reason cause of this though, but yeah. Watching you explore more than just get stacked by min maxing was SUPER admirable. Not to mention that classic content creator behavior you do by intentionally getting into troublesome situations, its so stressful but at the same time entertaining. The big fish is called a Dunkleostheus, It was a fish that lived in prehistoric times. They probably came from the same mod as the oviraptors that spawned earlier.

The thing Seán didn’t know the identification of is a real creature on earth known as the Mantis Shrimp. It has a locking mechanism in those club-like appendages, which create tension. Upon the achievement of maximum tension, it releases, moving so fast it creates a pocket of air known as a cavitation bubble. This bubble lasts less than a thousandth or so of the time that it takes for you to blink. Upon the collapse of said bubble, it basically flips itself inside out, creating a hammer-like impact, which is shown to create minimal amounts of visible light, is powerful enough to crack standard aquarium glass with ease, and heats up the water around it to temperatures higher than the surface of the sun. They can also see up to 12 wavelengths of color, as opposed to the 9 we humans can see. Just a little informative comment, spreading my abnormally vast amount of knowledge regarding sea life.
Im only 20 minutes into this video and I am already convinced Sean isnt blind, but DELIBERATELY IGNORING items that would be beneficial. an elytra (which is ALMOST understandable in this mod pack), what looks like an Iron chestplate at 19:44 inside the store, a CAKE in the same store, as well as a couple other things I'm sure I'm forgetting that made me go SEAN, ITS RIGHT THERE BRO

He has straight up ignored leather armor multiple times while he doesn't have a single piece of armor to his name lol. Big brain plays. Also passed up a turtle shell helmet that would have been PERFECT for this play through. Truly the biggest brain playes.

i don't know if it was said- but every time you make a underwater base you use glass pains- which is not a full block; meaning it can become a *water* source block- continuously flooding your base and it makes monsters be able to reach you since there isn't a full block in the way, it's uh.. like using a sheet of cardboard instead of a brick for a wall- kinda. :3 anyways, love your stuff, very fun to watch as always.

@@notapplicable6985 it's in java now too- i think it was added in the ocean update? i saw it happen a few times in my game as well. same function with leaves, stairs and slabs. even chests that are waterlogged. all of those are considered water sources. i think it's the same with fences? but im unsure about that one. im certain about the rest. :3 (ps. sorry this is so long >_>;)

The painted crustacean is a mantis shrimp! One of my favorite marine animals of all time!!! It has the strongest punch of any living animal and it has such powerful vision that it can see UV rays from the sun :) it’s colors are absolutely beautiful

To be fair, the bonefish lost him really easily and attacked mostly 2 times each time. Additionally, he was right next to the entrance of his base and could one shot them, so it isn’t that far of a stretch that he could have survived that.

I get what you mean, I thought that too, but then I realized just how impractical cakes actually are. They take up a whole inventory slot and can only restore a pretty small amount of health compared to, like, 10 bread. Hell, even dried kelp can theoretically provide more food than a cake while taking up only one inventory slot! Plus, you van only eat it when you place it diwn and then it can't be picked back up.
