Hey, evolution of Burger King?
Hey PLEASE EVO OF CAMERAS
watching many videos throughout 1900-2021, I got the impression that after the 50s America began to rot from the inside
I've heard lastyear from a time traveler he said 2022 cali and la will have "the big one" earthquake. I also heard same thing in Nostradamus prophecy 2021. I believe in these prophecy, so u guys in Cali, la at least should beware of and take care urself
@@Artuar3CRaFT LOL SHUT UP
People often forget that 2010 is also a decade.
yeah the 10's, now we are in the 20's. I would imagine once we get to the 50's people will start referring to our time period like this.

Hi me

Ye
1930 looks like a totally different city than the previous decades! The 1800s-1920s footage kind of look like any other city, very industrial, men in three piece suits, etc. But then BAM, 1930s with modern looking swimsuits, ladies in flowing maxi dresses, beach sides and palm trees. Also if I could travel there in the 60s, 70s I would, ahahah looks so fun
In the 1930s cars took over
Oh yeah music is catchy too I love the 70's the most
The 1930s till 1950s is my favorite Opinion no porn theaters everywhere no people smoking crack on the sidewalk that always 70 year old crackhead screaming and threatening Random people in cars.
I'm so happy you made this. I really appreciate being able to look at the past and see how this town evolved. God bless.
TOWN??!?
www los angeles town
I think the 1960s LA is my favorite out of this. My family was in SoCal around the early 60s. I wasn't born until 75. But, can imagine living around LA during this time was great.
Impossible...😮 From wild west to this... Amazing!😲

Awesome. My family's been in LA since 1926 but I only remember from the 80s on. Thanks for creating this. It's cool to look back to see what my great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents saw!

What a huge difference in just two lifetimes. If we were to born again the day we die and live another entire life, we will be living in a new era and a changed world that is different from our previous life. (Example: previous life, no internet. Next life, smart phones, color tvs, mass air travel and etc.)
Befor 1980s was very nice. This country is completely different now.
U call L A a country?
3:36 Officer Tenpenny and Polaski.
Past 1960 at that point the only thing that was improving was the camera quality 😂
True
Equality lol
@@bigal1513 that too I forgot about that 😂
yeah 1990's camera quality sucked
2:40 What is the back round song called?
The Hollywood sign originally said 'Hollywoodland' and was built in 1923 as an advertisement for real estate. It was only meant to stay up for a year and a half, but soon became an iconic symbol to the bright lights of the film capitol of the world. It was originally much smaller as well (30ft originally vs 45 feet today). It was decorated with lights around the perimeter of each letter, but the lights as well as the 'land' portion of the sign were removed in 1949. Side note: In 1932, Peg Entwistle jumped off the 'H' falling to her death. Post Script: LA's actual name is El Pueblo de Nuestra Señor La Reina de Los Angeles sobre el rio de Porcincula.
Back then when they legally could make whites only neighborhoods
I believe the long name. The Spanish loved making long names. My original name in 1956 was several names long. I am Cuban by birth am now an American citizen.
Peg Entwistle’s ghost also haunts the Hollywood sign to this day
This was a really good video. On the 2000s chapter it would’ve been a good idea to have shown the Red Line and a couple light rail lines. I miss living in L. A. I’ll be living back there again; I just don’t know when
Very nice and interesting 🤗 The video quality (1910s) was very good 👍🏽
Very good it's hard to imagine life has changed so much. It was interesting as I watched the palm trees grow from decade to decade. And long long dresses to the floor in the 1890s to pants on women in the 60s and on. Thank you so much I subscribe d

It showed areas of Los angles, not all of. Cool footage though. Didn’t really need the “urban” music to soundtrack the 90’s 🙃, only time the music changed
