Brad has been a great addition. He's always game for challenges and dressing up, and he plays into it. Heal up Scharf you were playing some good golf.
yeah it's just so rare for a golfer that good to be funny and chill like brad
Imagine Scharf playing into his role. He’s built for that.
@@Yumo-cd4ulwhy is that so rare lol
@@sctty83bhe used to and people ridiculed him for it
Brad is trash.
Bubbie after his very first shot: This ball only goes straight. I need to remember that. Bubbie before every shot after that: I'm going to play a draw. 🤣
This man was running on short term memory the whole video.
Watching Bubbie talk about how far he hits the ball but still ends up with the worst score .. 😂. Don’t talk just hit
Dude made the same mistake every tee and it was driving me nuts
Came here to say the same. 😂
The Old Tom Morris jokes had me rollin'. Also the tracer on the Fireball shot that fell outa Steve's pocket was priceless. Just absolute gold on the editing boys, well done Collin & Max!
I was dead
Great video! A couple of fun facts: Old Tom Morris won four majors (Open Championship 1861, 1862, 1864, 1867). Old Tom's 13 shot lead in 1862 Open Championship set a record for margin of victory that stood until 2000 when Tiger Woods won the US Open by 15 strokes. Old Tom Morris's son, conveniently named Young Tom Morris, won four majors as well (Open Championship 1868, 1869, 1870, and 1872). By all accounts, Old Tom DID NOT drink alcohol or use tobacco while training for tournament play, and he advised younger golfers to do the same. Brad's performance using a feathery would have made Old Tom proud. However, Brad's slanderous comments would have likely incurred Old Tom's ire. Garrett's JH Taylor call out was excellent. Love the historical challenges, fellas!
$200 a ball?😂 I get nervous hitting the random Pro V1 I found in the woods.
Just so you know fake golf balls is big business just anything people collect, ebay is full of fake stuff. Come on $400 for junk top-flite golf balls. Honestly just a waste of money. Colin spent way to much if he even spent 600 on the feather golf ball, coukdnt find any auction that sold for that. These can also be remakes or reproductions
@@chosen1one930do you honestly think the money he spent for the balls even matters?! This video is generating them a shitload in return for the few hundred he may have spent overpaying if that’s the case. The money invested brings the video to life and also creates memories for the guys, so it was worth every dollar he spent buying them
😂😂 I buy prov1 for $1 each in south africa (all found on course) and im scared to lose them haha
@chosen1one930 bruh you think he's spending that outta of his own pocket? 😂 that's a business expense. Complete write off.
@@atamagashock I understand that. Just crazy to think about lol.
We not gonna talk about Steve losing a button every hole? 😂😂
i noticed that too lmaooo
I thought that was Glenny Balls! 😅
It was the shot every hole he took.... Unfortunately think Steve would be better fit for Bob does sports. He cares to much about the drink and smoke....
Don't lie, you liked it.
Im so glad i saw this comment before finishing the video
Sploosh's play should get him a 2 year exemption into good good and into most good good majors. 🤣 Good addition to the crew.
Colin.... dude.... i have been a fan of the guys from Good Good for a long time. Back to when Garett and the boys were doing trick shots in the house til now. What i just watched, all 70 min of it? WAS A MASTER CLASS in editing. Now, I say colin, but if there is a team that works on this... and even if there wasn't, Colin seems like the type to pass off credit. Colin, if you ever offer an editting/filming/directing class, sign me up and take my money! If anyone still reading this thinks im crazy... go back and rewatch it and just watch the masterful cuts... music.... the man tells a story with the camera. I enjoy all the golf channels on this platform. I wont call out any by name because i dont have to. NO ONE DOES THIS BETTER THAN GOOD GOOD! You keep filmin' em... I'll keep watchin' em.
Fun Fact: Where did bunkers come from? The land used to play links golf on was also used for grazing sheep. Due to the constant winds coming off the ocean, the sheep would dig into the sides of berms for protection. Over time, sand made it's way to the surface and the sand trap was born!
That is a great fact.
@@jarvisrein9318100% agree, actually one of the more informative KZhead comments I’ve ever read
man them forget them sheep we wouldn’t have bunkers if it weren’t for them
I knew sheep were evil
i hate those sheep becasue its really easy to get in the sand trap but not the hole
Taking that ball out of the glass case is giving me “The Sandlot” vibes. I don’t think you’re meant to be hitting that ball 😂
For real! I'm not a golfer by any stretch of the imagination, but that still felt dirty.. even to watch
Try gutta percha replica balls. The material in balls Brad was using breaks down a lot after a few decades, let alone 100+ years.
Was it signed by Arnold Palmer?....
@@les4767 No, it was signed by some woman… “ Babey Ruthey” ?
I think Brad and Garrett just did something great here! I love the idea of when the competition isn’t as close challenging another member to a grudge match mid video to keep things interesting. Should do that every video!
Garrett and Brad trolling the American Airlines lady asking about the founding date and G-Rat’s subsequent big ass smile was the wholesome stuff I needed on this 24 hour shift at the Fire Dept. Thanks boys!
That's not trolling it's just asking a question. He was already on the phone with em

Well done guys!!! Shout out to Colin for all of his hard work in putting this together. Paying respect to the days gone by... well done indeed. I much prefer this over many of the other gimmicky "spin the wheel", "left-handed" and Walmart clubs, sorts of matches, that's just me.
I also give big props to Colin outstanding research and fossicking for the items on Ebay
bubbie over there trying to set ballspeed records while this random sploosh guy beats him by 6 strokes 😂😂
What an absolute gem of an episode! The balls, the outfits and the simple joy the guys showed upon the discovery of some historical hardware! Keep it up!
This type of content is why I started watching this channel. Creative and fun stuff.
Likewise, I love the "it's golf" but also "it's batshit insane".
The "F you Tom!" and the cutaways with theme music have me rollin! 🤣

By far one of the most creative formats in KZhead golf history. So brilliant.

Jackson might be able to give bubbie and Steve a run for their money in a match.
A run? When has Steve or bubbie ever shot -3 on 9 holes even with modern equipment 😂
Bro, he'd probably have beaten Brad & Garrett straight up today
This is some OG good good stuff right here. Thank you.
This is the funniest Brad has ever been in a GG video!
Cinderella story. And such a gracious individual🤣🤣 well done sploosh x
Shout out to Matt. Hope you heal quickly.
That sploosh guy clutched up for the video man was consistent af

Brad’s random beef with Old Tom Morris 😂 amazing
LOVE this type of old/new golf content
Garretts outfit is dope, I want those shirts and hats to make a comeback
They should definitely bring out a drop like this in their apparel
Dont forget the socks
GG old clubs major? Hell yeah. Hit that like button.
Brad should dress up like old Tom Morris, beard and all and Garret should go up to guys on the range and ask them if they want to go against him and his grandpa 😂
Brad has really grown on me. It's super fun to watch him navigate all the weird challenges. Also, Bubbie looks hilarious in that fit. It suits him.
My favorite fact about golf that most people don’t know is that it was super popular to bring your dog golfing in Scotland when the game was created. They hunted birds in the winter and birdies in the summer
is that where the term birdie comes from? hmmm...
Great video loved seeing all the old balls Collin got. Speaking of balls just got my Good Good Chrome tours that were just released today in Colorado Springs CO. Can’t wait to play em!!!! Would love to see you guys do a Balata Ball challenge from the 80's-90's.... Titleist had the 100 compression Balata, Royal Maxfli Balata were also popular. I am sure there are other brands, but here in Australia these were the 2 dominant brands in both Pennant and Professional golf. The amount of spin these balls generated from any lie was ridiculous - and from the fairway you could basically "pull the cord" as the saying go's and make the ball spin the length of the green if necessary... Brad, Garrett and possibly Matt and Bubbie will struggle controlling the spin as it spins so much, but Steve and Kendrick and Sploosh will find it so much fun stopping the ball so easily. They wont like how short the balls go when you mishit a 100 Compression Balata ball. They will also be surprised at how soft the balls actually are and a bladed wedge will more than likely slice the ball open. If the guys absolutely crush their drives - they will also likely flat side the ball or put it out of shape.... be fun to watch - around the tribute St.Andrews course when the greens are decent.
20:10 I don’t just play video games, I touch grass…. Rarely dawg 🤣🤣 bubs
Interesting vid. Love seeing the old stuff. Y'all need Good Good hats like Brad, Garrett, and Bubbie. Those would fly off the site. Well done, guys. Hang in there, Matt.
Please keep doing videos like this! Makes it so fun to watch
Definitely disagree. It's a waste of money for most likely fake or remake/reproduction balls. I'd rather see them save the money and put it into something else
This is great. You would really enjoy delving into the history of golf, amazing stories. Garrett has always reminded me of Bobby Jones. If you cut open those balls bubby is playing it’s trippy, we’d cut them open as kids ( yep, I’m old ) and take them apart. Rubber bands. The story of Ben Hogan is insane. When they played featheries back then, not only were they using crazy clubs-mashies- shillelieghs-but the courses weren’t all groomed and manicured. They were spectacular players
Bobby Jones? Really? The most effortless swing and perfectly balanced Bobby Jones? Garrett couldn't be further from Bobby Jones, I see garret as Arnold Palmer, Arnold's army, the swing type. Arnold fits Garrett perfectly
@@chosen1one930 I was alluding more to his carriage, character and positive golf outlook. Also his entrepreneurship and ability to bring golf to more people. If you see the other comments there’s new folks here due to his play with sketch. I was out of the loop on sketch but after Garrett’s round with him I’m a big fan, that kid is genius. 25:47 Brad's like that embarrassed older brother LMAO
Another great video guy's and to answer your question try these rules 😂 You may spit on your clubface before playing a shot to clean it, but not if you’re trying to reduce spin to hit a straighter shot. If your ball is lodged in an orange, you cannot take relief without penalty. Please don't stop being yourselves and keep them vids coming x
A major with old clubs, balls, and filmed in black and white would be the greatest thing ever!

I dont know how you guys did not create a GoodGood trophy yet! That you give every year in a major to the winner from the group, writing their names etc. Like a world cup trophy that passes from winner to winner.
What the point? They created one for real tournaments, you can find a picture online. Having a trophy for 5 or 6 people......just sad

When Steve is in a good mood he's the best creator on the platform

*Fun Fact:* If you counted wins for Tiger Woods using the criteria they use to count Sam Snead’s 82 wins, Tiger Woods would have 95 wins. • 1 of Snead’s wins was an 18 hole tournament. • 3 of them were only 36 holes. • 5 of them were against 16 or fewer opponents.
No one cares
Consider me a Sploosh fan. This was a fun video to watch fellas 💪
Sploosh is a great addition. Need to see more of him
Yo Bubbie’s outfit sneaky fits his vibe. This is such a cool idea!!! It’s a little hard to see them use those balls but I’m here for it!!!! So cool!
Fun fact: The term "bogey" in golf refers to a score of one over par. The term comes from the song "The Bogey Man", which was popular in the British Isles in the early 1890s. The song is about an elusive character who hides in the shadows, saying "I'm the Bogey Man, catch me if you can". Golfers began to equate the idea of matching or beating a hole's ground score with chasing the bogey man, and the imaginary character “Colonel Bogey” came into being.
On behalf of all good good fans... thank you... that is all
Highlight of it for me is Brads relentless vendetta against Old Tom 🤣🤣
Garrett's golf Fact: To build a Featherie you need a top hat of goose feathers and down. They're boiled and pressed into the bull leather pouch. When everything's dry the leather shrinks and the feathers expand to create a firm ball.
Shoutout to Jackson. Great round and fun to watch. Would love to see him in more vids.
