Haft the time they get into trouble it’s because of her. She also over rule and over spoken hunter when someone random needed something to help get themselves out of trouble they put themselves in. She would always say “no we need to help them” and everyone will eventually give in and they end up getting into trouble. • Quick correction, the equilateral trench on the Death Star is not the trench that Luke and the other rebel pilots make their run down, That trench was one of many located near the “northern” polar region of the Death Star where the thermal exhaust ports are located, the much larger trench around the equator is where all the docking ports and hanger bays are located.

      @mattyt1961@mattyt1961Ай бұрын
  • I theorize there was a change to the script for this episode. The display on the BB's shuttle says "Shield status," but they say they're waiting for Echo to turn off proximity sensors. The actual sequence of events depicted is much more in line with the idea that they were waiting on Echo to turn off shields, rather than sensors, since they aren't successful until the very last moment as they're attaching to the hull and the ship is taking off for lightspeed, and sensors that had failed to detect a ship approaching or getting close enough to dock are basically useless. It's like they'd originally blocked and drawn scenes for the shields to be taken down, but then re-wrote it to sensors later.

If the trench would be THAT visible from afar, it would probably be half a mile wide, when in "reality", it was just barely large enough to have three TIE Fighters side by side.

  • I have to argue, though many of the patterns are square within Mount Tantiss, the show focuses heavenly on an overall circular design. The mountain base is circular, the holding facility for the children is circular. The camera work even makes an increased effort on multiple occasions throughout the episode to focus on the very circular nature of the Mount Tantiss base on Wayland. This contradicts the square Rebel base designs on Yavin 4.

  • From what I can remember The Bad Batch used the stun setting fairly often in previous seasons during engagements because they were usually fighting off other clones and didn't want to kill any of their brothers who they thought were simply under the control of the inhibitor chips. Although that quickly changed with the introduction of the TK troopers and realization that Crosshair was actively choosing to remain loyal to The Empire despite no longer being under the influence of an inhibitor chip. All bets were off at that point. I think they are using the stun setting more often again due to the clandestine nature of their recent missions. Its also possible that after their run in with Wolffe, whom likely still has his inhibitor chip yet still let them go free, could have given them a sense of renewed hope "staying their blades" so to speak.

  • Omega felt so grown up this episode. She’s grown even since her first time on Tantiss, when she needed Crosshair’s help to leave. She is leading, spying, and plotting. Comparing her first time there, where she was there for months and made a doll to comfort herself, to now where she is wasting no time and letting the other kid enjoy the doll, she has become the adult and also has stayed true to her goal of freeing all of the prisoners at Tantiss. She refuses to leave people behind. It used to be unrealistic, but she is actually able to create her plan. Hopefully the force sensitive children have their moment to use the force to aid in the escape. I am so sad to realize there are only two episodes left. I thought it was at least 16 episodes. I really want a happy ending. I actually have no idea how this ends.

  • I've always noticed that the Bad Batch use stun settings when they're engaged with other clones but tend to fire lethal blasts when their enemies are anyone else like the TK troopers. Good ep SC!

  • Great review as always, but I wanted to note one little thing that wasn't mentioned. Did you notice that the force sensitive kids are red, green and blue (RBG) and thus can represent any color? The last added child was not humanoid just to complete the supremecy of humans over all other races in the galaxy. Mildly interesting.

  • I think the return to Tantis serves to not only build character for Omega, but also to free other clones. Perhaps the sacrifice, and loss, of the Bad Batch motivates the freed clones to "rebel" against the Empire. Trained soldiers make great teachers for civilians starting a rebellion.

  • I think Emerie’s scientist glasses will break just before she starts helping Omega escape. Not necessarily related to anything… just as a metaphor of her not seeing the Empire through “rose colored glasses” anymore 😉

  • I can't help but notice that the bodies of those load lifter's look somewhat like a styled KX-series Security Droid, like K-2SO in Rogue One. The animators seen ti do this a lot when they have existing droid models, such as leftovers from the Clone Wars like the Clone Commandos, which makes me wonder if we'll either see KX Droids in the finale or somewhere in Tales of the Empire.

  • Firm believer that cx-2 is Tech. I also think Cody, with potentially a few other familiar faces, will be the new batch of CX troopers that hemlock said weren’t ready yet in a previous episode. The final episode will play out like “The Mandolorian” but instead of the finished dark troopers; it will be the new batch of cx troops being used to stop the Tantis assault.
