  • Great elevator application. I’ve never done one in my builds but I think I want to try it as well 😁

  • Wouldn’t it be better to have a big elevator which can open to both sides instead of two? Hospital elevators often carry beds together with medical teams and therefore need to have a good size.

  • I've always been fascinated by how to best build elevators and escalators in MOCs - love this and very keen to see the final product (yes, I'm watching this 11 months late)

  • That is awesome. Rides so smooth.

  • I love the design. Very nice! Maybe one day you could add a power functions motor to the top of the shaft and attach a string. Program it to stop at a certain distance at each floor with one of those lego robots. That would be cool.

  • I remember in 1994 in Sweden I built a typical Scandinavian Cruiseferry with car deck and 2 elevators from the lego pieces I had at home and during the Träslöjd (Woodwork or carpentry) at school I made elevator doors from playwood wood and glued and decorated with Metal paper.

  • I learned this little tip from my brother you could connect the little string piece to a 4 by 4 and you just lift the 4 by 4 up and down and the elevator will follow. Another tip if you have a parking garage and it is boring you could a little car meet on the garage

  • You could make an emergency stairway outside the building, like using really simple pieces!

  • im sure you will be awear that most hospitals have a fire exit you might need to consider that because as one of things some may know is that fire can strike at any time .... please consider your minifigs safety

  • Unrelated to the hospital, have you ever thought about having a museum in the city? Even just a small local style museum.

  • Alex I love your new elevator installation on your Lego hospital! As an elevator enthusiast, I must say the attention to detail is practically spot on! Quick sidenote. Have you thought about putting a small panel inside the elevators so it looks like a mini figure can you press a floor button?

  • There should be a back entrance directly next to the elevators so the ambulances coming in can come to the back and bring patients into the elevator I stead of having to wheel them through the lobby. The whole back can be a little er section in the sense that they rush up the elevator immediately
