The problem is that Hamas uses these tunnels/bunkers under Shifa as part of their violent activity against Israel. In other words: the fact that there is a bunker under a hospital is not a problem at all. the problem starts when a terrorist organization uses this bunker for it's filthy activity while being protected by the existence of a hospital above. Ex IDF members are not civilians. Settlers are not civilians. They are occupiers. Not all hamas fighters abided by the rules of war that day and they should be punished. But to claim that most of the casualties on oct 7th were civilians is wrong. They are combatants, extremist settlers AND civilian settlers that were obliterated by tank and helicopter friendly fire (also killing children and incinerating families. Look it up on Israeli media). Israeli bases were raided and those were the main targets.

And also, almost all civilian settlers have to serve in the IDF. So every PERSON within the military is fair game. (because women also do their part too) If they don't like Abduls and Mohammads shooting at them when the apartheid wall falls, it's best if they got the fuck back to whatever european country they came from and leaving the natives alone.

He made it clear the directive was to engage combatants and not to kill civilians but the border settlements have their own security (civilians) who will have taken up arms and fought back. Also, the Hamas fighters lost control when Israel responded with tanks and they were forced inside with groups of settlers that were then shelled by Israel en masse. Also, he explained many Palestinians (not members of Hamas) crossed through the border breach and they had no control over what they did or who they grabbed as hostages.
