Francisco Lachowski comes very close to perfection. There are virtually no flaws in his facial appearance, the only flaws can be drawn when we go below the neck.. which is irrelevant when you consider his facial aesthetics. He has perfect maxillofacial growth which becomes evident from the zygomatic arches that project wide (adds facial width) and are round in shape in the tipping points. The nose is perfect: straight nasal septum indicates the face hasn't grown vertically more than it should at any point in developmental time so it doesn't appear hooked, it is also devoid of any obscure mal/formations, crookedness or deviation (some of which are typically caused by allergies or force trauma). He has _near_ perfect dentofacial growth. While he has gotten some dental aid with orthodontics (evident from the appearance of his top central and lateral incisors+canines), his bite is perfect. You can tell this by looking at his lip posture (see 00:08-00:10) , which is affected by the position of the mandible, and anyone will agree that it looks nice and balanced. The mandible is in an ideal position which means there's no malocclusion, and malocclusions have an enormous impact on the aesthetic appearance of the face. This is rare because with modern [western] diet and the rapid increase of allergies, it is extremely hard for most males to develop a nice looking jaw (not to mention that you need the appropriate testosterone levels and genetics to develop one). Lots of males that would normally develop a jaw similar to Lachowski's don't, because of mouth breathing or improper masticatory usage (the diet is too soft). It takes a perfect growing environment on top of good genes and hormone profile to develop a balanced facial structure like Lachowski's, and that's leaving out the individual features like the eye area, which in Lachowski's case is unique in itself. Now combine all this with the fact that he is over 6'2''. A good looking face with pretty features is hard to achieve when given a tall skeletal build. Most guys that you see with really pretty or handsome faces are 5'9'' to 5'11'', i.e. average height. You will very rarely see someone as aesthetic with masculine features as Francisco. You see beautiful women all the time and there's nothing admirable about being a pretty girl because it's so easily achievable and common. Beautiful men are an exception to the rule; something that should be admired, not only because of the beauty itself but the difficulty in achieving such beauty.

- ***** according to some people (the creators of orthotropics), you can eventually make your face look better over time if you keep your tongue on the roof of your mouth, lips sealed and teeth together. We don't have evidence that this would make more than minor changes to your face but there is some evidence that people who keep breathing through the mouth will eventually look worse (they face gets lengthened even in adult life). The notion that your face will eventually look better with the correct oral posture follows the logic that as your tongue keeps the pressure up to the maxilla, it will not fall down and _may_ influence forward growth, but there's little research done on this. Bone metabolism is a lifelong process where mature bone tissue is removed from the skeleton (a process called bone resorption) and new bone tissue is formed (a process called ossification or new bone formation). These processes also control the reshaping or replacement of bone following injuries like fractures but also micro-damage, which occurs during normal activity. Remodeling responds also to functional demands of the mechanical loading. In the first year of life, almost 100% of the skeleton is replaced. In adults, remodeling proceeds at about 10% per year. So, imagine that, at 10% a year replacement rate, your tongue will slowly influence the bone tissue not to reform where it used to (because your tongue isn't allowing that to happen due to pressure) and it will re-ossificate up and forwards. For gross changes like long face syndrome or a recessed jaw, you would probably need surgery (Le forts & orthognathic surgery respectively).

- TheMocho88 In a nutshell, allergy often causes blocked noses, thus it exhibits mouth breathing which in turn, at young ages, will alter the facial appearance in adulthood (of course not in all cases, it depends on the degree of mouth breathing). Allergies may also cause eczemas affecting the skin in the face, which also affects your aesthetics. I will quote myself from another site below Humans are attracted to humans that look like humans. If you stretch any features in the human face-make the face longer, turn the nose sideways, or change the location of the eyes to, say, forehead-the human brain no longer registers it as a face. This is why we tend to consider longer faces less attractive. There is no human gene that intends to make a face unattractive, the causes for unattractiveness is almost entirely environmental and the causes are usually related to the same thing during development. Only in the case of inbreeding do people become ugly because of genes, and this is because the immune system has become worse due to increased homozygosity which has a direct effect on facial development. In the human DNA, there’s a very specific blueprint on what the proportions of the human face ought to be. Provided that facial development is reached without environmental disturbances, every human face will have the same proportions. Only sizes may vary, e.g. if you enlarge the forehead, the rest of the face is likely to follow suit. It is mostly when the proportions deviate is when we think of people as unattractive. i.e., when people start to look less and less human-like is when they turn ugly, e.g. People with abnormally long mid-faces or recessed jaws do not look as much human. Craniofacial development is the most crucial one when it comes to attractiveness. Oral posture is almost the only thing that ensures correct facial development. The human tongue plays a surprisingly important role in ensuring the development of the human splanchnocranium, it is essentially designed to push the maxilla up with a light force when the mouth is closed, thus regulating the maxillofacial development. The maxilla is designed to grow forwards, this is achieved only by holding the tongue against the palate, when the maxilla sits on the tongue. In children, if the tongue drops down from the palate, it will push down the mandible which will hinder both dentofacial and maxillofacial growth. Humans are designed to live with their mouths closed whenever they aren’t eating or talking and this is why the mandible will not develop if it hangs open; the tongue will practically modify the mandibular growth pattern, decreasing its angular growth (i.imgur.com/G1K8Xcr.jpg), leaving less space for molars and likely to cause a recessed jaw, giving the face an unattractive profile and possibly a malocclusion. As the tongue is no longer pushing up the maxilla, the maxilla drops down - it grows vertically instead of growing forwards. This is what causes the long face syndrome (adenoid faces), disproportionate vertical growth of the lower third (see: Michael Phelps), may increase philtrum and septum length (see: David Schwimmer), causes gummy smiles, disproportionate noses, flat cheekbones, and tiresome eyes with frog-like appearances (see: Vincent Schiavelli). The maxilla will become narrower, reducing the cross sectional area, narrowing the nasal capacity and forcing the tongue further down into the airway, but leaving less space also for the teeth. It’s extremely important that people understand the pathology related to unattractiveness. Having a vermin-like profile appearance does not mean that the genes have made it that way. Having an amorphous, puffy face that lacks any angles while the body fat % is normal isn’t necessarily genes either. We have conducted studies on chimpanzees where we made them unable to hold their tongue against their palate, modifying their facial development and appearance in adulthood. The chimpanzees were actually considered less attractive by their peers and had less copulatory behaviors expressed towards them. The mechanism is the same across the animal kingdom, the less human you look, the more your features are exaggerated, the less attractive you are. Having disproportionate features means losing tribal uniformity. Every parent should make sure that their children keep their teeth together, lips sealed and the tongue against the roof of the mouth; breathing through the nose. Allergy symptoms should be dealt with immediately using nasal unblockers.
