  • Honestly there's a great story here of a nation having a prophetic vision of invading doom in a hundred years time and doing what must be done to survive, rapid advancement of technology, enveloping neighbouring states and committing horrible war crimes to survive, the doom arrives and by using their own portals against them, winning the day and surviving the end of the world by the skin of their teeth with millions dead. I'd read that novel anyway

  • Those wanting to play this mod should be aware the mod places all the new units at Tier 5 of the settlements so you can only get them late game. The mod creator made an add on to get them earlier but that places all the units at Tier 1. If you want the units to be more spread out like normal, with the weaker ones being low tier and the bigger units being high tier, you need to download the mod “TW Millennium Warfare Submod - Recruitment Distribution”. This submod will give an even distribution of the mod units giving you something to work towards through the campaign while still letting you play with new units in the early game.

  • Fighting against fantasy armies with WW1 tactics, tanks, biplanes, and artillery, with scores of Imperial German Army troops was never something I'd ever imagine, but looks so satisfying to see. Nothing says power and manliness like holding the line with your comrades in arms in a muddy trench against scores or Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Frenchmen, and Daemons while crushing them with machine guns, tanks, biplanes, zeppelins, and artillery. Willhelm von Zollerhohn was my favorite general here. Can't go wrong with Panzer Battalions in Total War Warhammer.
